Like I said, just trying to enjoy the few perks I can while I'm here. I miss the NW. But, there are some neat things here honestly. I can't wait to get back to Portland, but I'm going to spend my time here learning about all of the new things that are out there.

Also, I just got access to a new badass digital slr. I'm definitely going to head out with that tomorrow!

Please take the lead for a bit. I always dig your photos. And yeah, all of my photos have been with my phone so far, so I am looking forward to playing with the slr tomorrow. I'll have full control of shutter speed and aperture so there should be no grainy artifacts. Cheers! Bring the heat!

I have to admit I don't know what any of that stuff is, but that's a great shot.

Lensbaby is a Portland company that makes some interesting lens - instead of making just simple lens, they sell lens that you can tilt and replace the optics in them for different looks. I believe they no longer sell the optics I use - but something like the following is very close to it (probably easier to live with):
