Rasta you gotta be feeling pretty solid right now, aren’t you?

Leeds might not be out of the relegation battle, but their form has been alright. And today they get the FA cup win over Norwich. Figure staying in the Premier League is probably top priority for Leeds. I still think they will make the cutoff.

As I said before, the league has to watch out for West Ham. Those two spots with Wolves and Burnley are decided, but West Ham is NOT going to be the 3rd team relegated. Unless their current form falls off a cliff… They’ve been playing like a top 10 club, not one fighting relegation.

Maybe it will be Tottenham… But I think smart money is unfortunately on the Trees.

City done by a beat up Madrid. They aren’t overcoming 3 goals.

Munich looking class. Had nothing to do with Harry Kane as they demolished an Atalanta club which has been in decent form.

Olise is so good.

Man, if Wrexham can hold on and get these 3 points vs Sheffield United they will be right outside of the promotion playoff window.

Amazing season for them regardless, but if they can make history and get another promotion that would be insane!

I gotta catch up on that show

I honestly hope they don't. Other teams deserve it more.

That would have been big trouble if this match actually meant anything.

Italy… They’ve missed the last 3 world cups now!

Which is ridiculous, because they've obviously been a top-ten-in-the-world team for all of that time.
It is, and that is true. The world of sports is full of wacky improbabilities.

I’d love to see the USA be one of those wacky improbabilities and win their first World Cup on home soil, but I’m not counting on it.

I’m still backing Portugal. I think Ronaldo is going to get a W in his last World Cup. That Portugal team is top class, and I think they will play with focus and determination.

Especially not if the USA bring their friendly form to the World Cup stage…

Honestly kind of hoping more and more teams promise to boycott the World Cup. Spain has already said they won't take part if Israel takes part, I believe. But I fear FIFA is too craven and too money-driven. But I bet there'll be a lot fewer fans coming to the US than last time.

I honestly really don’t like how politics could tarnish the World Cup in NA. IMO this is about Football (Soccer), not about current events or the fact that we have a dingus as POTUS.

And what do you expect FIFA to do? Cancel the World Cup because teams are threatening to boycott?

I don’t disagree that fans may decide not to travel to North America for the World Cup. I just think it’s a shame that politics could be a stain on what otherwise is one of if not the greatest sporting events in the world.

Southampton "crushes" Wrexham

Can't lie - part of me is pleased to see those upstarts put in their place. I mean, I was certainly happy for them to get promoted a couple of times, but wait your turn for the PL l'il buddies.

Phew! 2-1. Is that us safe from relegation? That means one out of Forest, Spurs or West Ham are going down. (Sorry, young Spurs fan:

Coventry equalizes late and with a point they clinch EPL promotion, been like 25 years for them since they’ve been in the premier league.

USA’s Haji Wright will be in the EPL next season.

Safer… Yes. And Leeds schedule in the final few matches is favorable. But you’ve also got matches against Spurs and West Ham which Leeds needs to get points from.

Realistically it will be one of those 3. Going to be a crazy relegation battle down the stretch. For West Ham and Tottenham to be in the battle is crazy!

Imagine Tottenham in the Championship…
