As far as I could find, there are two futball teams with that name. But both are from cities in something called Scotland (?) which leads me to believe they're fake names...I mean, seriously who names a country after Scott Thomason??

I think Portland Fire is really good. It was already established before the wildfire problems in the Portland area, and it goes well with the Blazers.

It'll be interesting to see what the community feedback is.

I'm down with Pioneers! My two youngest are Pioneer WBB players at Oregon City HS, and my oldest was a Pioneer WBB player for 4 years in high school and is now a Pioneer WBB freshman at Lewis and Clark.
