They did the weigh-in and shook hands before the test results came back

Dana is a moron

I didn't buy the PPV, but I watched the prelims. Very nice to see live sports on again!

I read this morning there was a curling competition in Canada where 60 people were in the cold building having a game and now 24 have contracted the virus....it seems to thrive indoors when it comes to sports...and breathing heavily seems to spread it under those conditions...maybe if basketball opens up they'd be better off playing outdoors...seems outdoor sports would be lower risk than indoor sports

That might be fun to watch NBA street ball.

How do you feel about this rush to resume John? I know like everyone, you need the scratch but my son was called into his work today for a series of meetings with about 100 coworkers and he's nervous...new baby coming and he's already set up to work from home. Felt the meetings are premature and risky at this stage....I'd hate for the Blazers to end up like an infected cruise ship stuck off shore..in the case of your Lakers...I say no problem...have a slumber party in purple and piss but the Blazers are guys I actually like

CJ had mentioned a good percentage of players live pay check to pay check so I would expect a good percentage under safe conditions to get back to work. Them house and car payments must be made. Different levels of poverty I guess.

I wonder if LeBron James is now in favor of resuming the season with no fans. More than once he's said he'll refuse to play if there are no fans in the stands.

These guys can apply for unemployment like everybody else and deal with their creditors like everybody else....I have family members who live paycheck to paycheck and companies aren't rushing back because they need to work....there's a lesson to learn if they've overextended their finances

I don't disagree with that at all and with respect to finance,s you are right on, about lessons to be learned.
If they start up down the road to finish the season I'm hopeful they take precautions.
