You should have stopped reading write there. I don't know what year they think it is or what planet they think we're on...
Doesn't matter, there is no place, or no time where Eric Gordon has ever been better than C.J. McCollum - EVER.
C.J. McCollum last season:
Eric Gordon's best year:
23.0 ppg, 3.6 rpg, 3.6 apg
22.3 ppg, 2.9 rpg, 4.4 apg
.480 FG%, .421 3FG%, .912 FT%, .544 eFG%
.450 FG%, .364 3FG%, .825 FT%, .506 eFG%
19.9 PER, .585 TS%, 6.2 OWS, 1.4 DWS, 7.6 WS, .131 WS/48, 2.1 VORP
18.5 PER, .566 TS%, 4.2 OWS, 1.1 DWS, 5.3 WS, .120 WS/48, 1.7 VORP
That was Eric Gordon's best season in the NBA. It was also 7 years, two teams and several injuries ago. Even then he wasn't as good as C.J. McCollum is right now.
Here's how they stacked up last season:
C.J. McCollum 2016-17:
Eric Gordon 2016-17:
23.0 ppg, 3.6 rpg, 3.6 apg
16.2 ppg, 2.7 rpg, 2.5 apg
.480 FG%, .421 3FG%, .912 FT%, .544 eFG%
.406 FG%, .372 3FG%, .840 FT%, .527 eFG%
19.9 PER, .585 TS%, 6.2 OWS, 1.4 DWS, 7.6 WS, .131 WS/48, 2.1 VORP
13.2 PER, .557 TS%, 2.5 OWS, 1.4 DWS, 3.8 WS, .079 WS/48, 0.4 VORP
Not even close. Eric Gordon is an old, injury prone has been. Good scorer off the bench, but not part of anyone's Big 4.
And why is it, cuckfans keep "forgetting" to mention Jusuf Nurkic? Could it be, they really don't want to talk about how our Big 4 would actually be a Big 4, not just a Big 3 with the addition of Carmelo Anthony? Sure, they will have the name recognition in Harden, CP3 and Melo, but after that, they don't have shit. Their 4th best player would be either an alienated Ryan Anderson, or Eric Gordon. They currently have a Big 2, who have a history of choking in the playoffs. We have a Big 3 already in place, including the guy who cut their hearts out in 0.9 seconds. They have the guy who was a complete no show in a 39-point Game 7 drubbing at home against a team missing their best player and their starting PG.
