The knicks already know what Morey is offering. Some of the NGs might change, but no major parts. There is no better deal to fax.

We'll go do the math then. Without Gordon or Ariza, it would take 3-4 of your cheaper contracts to match. Makes it really tough to see how it could work.
 
Maybe Rocket fans don't understand what rebuilding means and what a rebuilding team would value...? Maybe they just need education on that topic and it isn't their fault?

Oh, on games played. You ignored many points that blasted your argument to a pile of dung and knew that you couldn't argue them, so you instead talked about how many games he played, when there's multiple other reasons that NYK wouldn't take Melo.

The Knicks aren't trying to get better now, they're trying to get better for the future. You have no assets that will help them get better for the future, which is why the Melo to HOU trade hasn't happened.

R-E-B-U-I-L-D-I-N-G does not mean the whole team is under 25. You always have a veteran. i was wrong on my 3pt%, I looked at his FG%.

This is a mute point anyways. EG and Ariza are not going anywhere.
 
When rebuilding, you don't take a player of RA's mediocre ability, older age, and size of paycheck. You simply don't. That's worse than letting him walk. If they had other pieces, he's not a bad addition, but you don't want a player like him eating that much cap space with where they are in a rebuild.

I did not read them all. I was wrong on my stats. You got me there. But he is still a good value at $12M off the bench for 20 mins a game
 
Arguing about ifbNY wants certain Guys from Houston or Houston is unwilling to send etc... mic match anyway you want is irrelevant. If there was a deal there to be made it would have been.

Not as good as Lee for under 12. Actually Gordon is closer to 13. 13.5 the following season and 14 In the last. Next.

For this, Morey is not holding up the deal. The Knicks do not want Ryan, and Hou only wants to give Ryan. There are probably some NGs in there and maybe a draft pick. That is why the deal hasn't gone through. NYK wants more, Hou doesn't want to give more.

Exactly. The argument shouldn't be portland vs Houston. It should be stay in New York or go to Portland.

That is the only way this current rumor makes sense to me. If Houston had what NY wanted, it would've done. They've had what, almost 2 months to get a trade done and they haven't been able to? It's pretty obvious the onus is on Houston for improving the trade.

Yeah it doesn't take this long to negotiate a trade. The Kyrie deal was done within what, 4-5 weeks? And that's kyrie Irving, a true superstar in his prime. The holdup here is Melo. That's it.

I agree. The NYK and HOU are at an impasse. Hou could send stuff over to complete the deal, but won't. So the whole Portland idea hangs on Melo opening his teams up. I do not think he does that. I think he stays a knick 1st. The point of coming to Hou is to play with CP3. When Cle was an option, it was to play with LeBron. Portland does not have any members of the boat. If we did not have CP3, Melo would not want to be a rocket.

If houston had stuff to send over it'd already be done. That's a fan pipe dream to think players to trade are going to magically appear.
