Not really but it further compounds things the more ball-stoppers you have. Plus, C.J. is efficient enough to justify a lot of it, and he isn't as much of a ball-stopper as Melo was. Also, January-March Melo was the worst defensive player on the team, and that's taking C.J. into account.

I would trade C.J. for an equal talent who's a better fit in a heartbeat. There's none available though. There's numerous players of equal talent to Melo who'd be far better fits. Therefore, I don't want Melo back.
 
Just my point of view on this, but i was watching footage of Melo working out and he looks great. He continues to work hard on his shot, and he was clutch in the bubble. His spring is back due to his nutrition and svelte body. His tomahawk two hand slam shows that. Plus he fit in great with the chemistry. Re-sign Melo.

Melo deserves a shot at the title and the Bucks only have seven players. Don't be selfish! If you love somebody, let them go.
