The thing about Anderson is that he's not just a shooter, he's a scorer.
Not true. He scores - but he scores as a shooter. When people are referred to as "scorers" it's because they can score in a handful of ways, with the ball in their hand, and they are hard to defend. With Ryan Anderson the plan is to ALWAYS run him off the line and make him put the ball on the floor. He's NOT a scorer - he's a shooter.

He averages 7.4 per 36 for his career.

LMA averages 8.6 per 36 for his.

The thing about Anderson is that he's not just a shooter, he's a scorer.

That is highly front end influenced. He is trailing off and 6 per 36 is probably more realistic.

I do agree that he is a scorer. I watched him closely for several games last year and was impressed that he was much more than a 3 pt shooter.

He wouldn't be my first choice, but he certainly would provide an interesting dynamic. Worst case we keep him until ZCollins and Swanigan develop more.

That would be nice, but I am sure you would agree.... not realistic. NY is going young, there is no way they are trading their 1st round draft pick for Harkless.
Great! I really don't want any part of this rumored trade!

Scorers put up lots of points if you put the ball in their hands. Very different from being a shooter, which Crabbe is.

He's not my first choice, either.

But if you're sick of seeing the ball swing around the 3pt line to Mo or Aminu and the shot taken by those two, Anderson won't disappoint.

I don't want any part of getting rid of our Moe. Fuck Ariza and Gordon is forever injured.
I totally agree with you!
But of all the proposed garbage trades where we trade Hark for Anderson, I'd rather the Ariza/Gordon trade occur. But I don't want to get involved in ANY of the rumored NYK/HOU trades.

MmmmmmmmmmmmWRONG. Three points - Anderson scored THREE POINTS more per game, on 2.5 more shots. He has a worse 3P%, worse 2P%, worse eFG%.

This. Neither team has anything we want save Porzingis.

You're looking at his worst season.

Anderson has averaged 16 PPG and 17 PPG in 30 minutes in a season, 81 games and 66 games. That would be 6/7 points more per game.

He's also scored near 20 PPG (19.8) in 36 M

Seems to me, based on the baseless speculation in the tweets that are floating around, that Houston and NYK, and Melo, really want to get something done. Ergo: Olshey has them over a barrel. One or both of those teams need to make some moves to get Olshey what he wants, or they can suck it. Or go play with someone else.

Agree! In Olshey I trust. But they would also be helping us out by taking our bad contracts/Meyers.

I'm looking at his most RECENT season.

Ugh.. He doesn't play Defense. We don't need more shooting....

We don't have any contracts that are as bad as Anderson's. Meyers at $10M is not that bad of a contract, even if he never plays a single minute. Turner, while not great, isn't awful. And Crabbe - our worst contract - is still young and one of the best shooters in the league.

RA will be just fine on this team. He has a skill we sorely lacked last year from his position. (Nurk will cover for him at the rim defensively)

Vonleh hopefully will make a big step this season, if not we have a few youngins waiting for their opportunity.

I would hate to lose hark, but if we can get some picks in the deal we can salvage this off season. I just don't want a panic move just to make a move. Patience is the key when teams are scrambling to beat the W'S. Because we can't...yet.

Paul George isn't a lock to go to HCP'S team. We need to put ourselves in a position to at least take a shot at him in free agency next year.

You literally can't trust anything that HCP says. He has burned all credibility and I guarantee he's just fucking with us. Honestly I'm not sure why the organization lets him do it.
The only "organization" I work for from May-November is ESPN, Pac-12Net, HBO, ROOT, NBCSports, Golf Channel, CSN......etc. Who do you speak of?

Yes I was just "fucking" with you guys. Sorry.
