$26M for that guy who hasn't won a damn thing in years. Bloated!

I've always disliked Melo's game but we'd be giving up 3 below average players and getting the best player in the deal for 2 years. What do we really have to lose not going to win championship with those three guys but just maybe if Melo works out and GS has one major injury we give ourselves a chance. Another thing is we're more likely to get players to want to play with our group.

Paul
Harden
Ariza
Anthony
Capela

Bench: Gordon, Nene, PJ Tucker, umm, umm, umm

Vs

Dame
CJ
Aminu
Anthony
Nurkic

Bench: Turner, Crabbe, Davis, Swanigan, Vonleh, Collins

Fuck the Rockets. Carmelo has the same, maybe even a better chance to win in Portland. But but superstars.

I'm not sure how that's even possible. Houston fans becoming even more obnoxious certainly defies at least a couple laws of physics.

If we ever become like Spurs or Rockets fans, I will turn in my '77 championship banner and start following Dressage competitions. And in NO WAY am I joking.

Paul hasn't done shit, and that big three isn't nearly good enough to beat the Warriors.

I don't even see how they fit together. Morey is on the opposite end of the dork spectrum. Hinkie had a plan. Morey just tries to get every available "star" without really ever considering how they'd fit on the court.

Trader bob was kinda the same way. Seemed to get us the closest we've been in a long time.

Nah, Bob had very specific types of players he would go after. Not just anyone. Morey seems to be trying to find anyone who needs to have the ball in their hands.

Front office exec will no longer be sharing any info with this personal trainer. Or maybe he was just throwing this out there as a joke to see if it would get leaked.
A very very small # of "front office execs" have any clue what Neil is up to, maybe only one and that's McGowan.

Guess this one did

I can't find the tweet but didn't Chris Haynes say that Melo would come to Portland if the opportunity arose?

It is a good opportunity to get rid of some bad contracts. Worst case scenario we fail as a team anyway, he wants out and we sign and trade him next summer to another team as he ll decline his player option.

FTFY.

Make the bench all defensive. They can hold down the scoring of their opponents until the starters can come back and continue bombing away on offense to win.

Im just glad Neil is done being the middle man, the little fish....about time Portland was the big dog.

I'm glad we Neil doesnt want Houston's trash, that's the most important thing at the moment.

However, i don't see Carmelo waiving his clause so he can get shipped to a place where his wife doesn't want to go to or to a place without his banana boat buddies.
