I realize there is almost zero chance of that happening but we need to somehow address the small forward position and I don't think Turner (or Crabbe) is the answer here. Besides, we will be thin in the backcourt if Harkless leaves because that means Crabbe and Turner will be asked more to play at 3 (unless we intend to use Aminu there again which would make sense with 4 power forwards available).

We should try to get Ariza in this trade. While not that great, he would be a decent option short term.

Maybe they think he, Hardaway and Harkless can form a strong 3-player wing rotation.
 
I'm still hearing that POR isn't that high on Anderson if they have to give up Harkless. They are more interested in moving other parts and/or getting back a pick. Now if they were to be able to move Turner/Leonard, that might do it. Apparently they prefer to keep Crabbe.

So far it's the only thing I've seen where one team (us! let's be clear, that's ALL I care about) doesn't get hosed. NYK would also get a HOU pick or two, as they get the least out of the trade. Otherwise I think it's basically four teams shuffling unwanted players.
 
Adjusted, I guess. Would be nice to send Crabbe or Turner out in the deal, but I guess there's not much of a reasonable way to make that happen without bringing Anderson back here, which I really don't want.

Now fix it one more time since it is a 4-team rumor and you have HOU, NY and mystery team. A good mod would know a plural is needed there since you are referencing 4 teams. Back to puppy school for you.
