Couple of Dame and CJ quotes and an Evan Turner tweet seemed to be about enough fuel after a shitstorm of "hell no we don't want Ryan Anderson"!! Melo got more ink here than Crabbe getting traded...
 
There was some report that Olshey wasn't interested in being part of a Melo deal unless Portland was getting Melo.

Normal, rational people assumed this meant Olshey wasn't interested in being part of a Melo deal. Abnormal, crazy people (i.e. everyone here except me) decided it meant Portland was getting Melo.

Actually, it meant Portland had a chance at getting Melo since the Knicks wanted what we have and that was news especially when CJ and Dame started to recruit him. That was news. We were following it.

He'll start the season at Knicks and then get traded to Rockets when it becomes clear that Knicks are still terrble and Rockets think they can win championship because they went 22-6 or something, and will give up more than they should.

For us. It was a pretty interesting off-season for the league--Chris Paul, Paul George, Jimmy Butler, Gordon Hayward all switching teams and each one altering the power balance. Plus the Kyrie Irving thing.

By the way, what's the latest news on Melo?
