Not Collins. NYK isn't in position to bargain. And who else would we trade out in that deal? The salaries don't match.

The deal I'd want is Harkless, Davis, Vonleh, Napier, Layman, and Connaughton for Anthony, O'Quinn, and Lee (TPE). I think that makes sense for both sides. NYK gets valuable young pieces in Harkless and Vonleh, and could take a flier on Napier, Layman, and Connaughton. Davis is expiring. They'd have apx. $45M in cap space next year to add talent around Porzingas, Hardaway, Harkless Ntilikina, Vonleh, and Hernangomez. That's a pretty good start to a rebuild.

The other trade I'd try is Harkless, Leonard, Davis, and a 2018 1st for Anthony and Lee. Sheds Meyers contract and if Anthony doesn't return it saves us about $8M next year, without losing a rotation player in the end(Harkless and Lee are rotation players, while Leonard and Davis aren't needed). Next year's draft isn't that special so losing the pick doesn't matter either.

We could still be good by using our full MLE to sign a SF. Vonleh, Swanigan, and Collins would also be a year further in their development.

I wouldn't give them Collins. They already have Porzingis and Hernangomez as their power forward and center of the future. So, it's not like they NEED Collins.
