That's why I'm saying he should study his tapes. Buck wasn't exactly a giant of a PF (was barely taller than Clyde). But he was a solid PF. Couldn't really dribble to save his life though.

Is BG really a "tapes" kind of guy though? Wasn't he just a hustle player? I really want to see Robinson develop a post game. If he should watch anyone, it should be Zach. He's quick like Zach, he just needs to develop a nice little 10-12 footer and a decent first step move to get to the hole.

Either way, he just needs some work. The tools are there.

But I loved when Buck would get the ball down around the bucket, take a power dribble, them rip the ball through the rim.

It's really annoying, because everyone likes to bring him up in every game.

Caught the tail end of the game on TV. I taped it so I can watch it again tomorrow. One thing I did notice was that the Blazer D looked different from last year. Much more aggressive.

Also impressed with Will. Much more composed out there. I still think he has the potential to be a "complete" Sg. He does a little of everything.

Damn. That doesn't sound good. He looked very composed at the end. Hit clutch free throws as well. I do see the box score has him with 5 To's. Not good. But 10 rebounds is nice.

I do take it with a grain of salt since we had damn near 40 turnovers... Everyone was out of control in that first half.

He's just not built for heavy minutes right now. I am hoping he can this season though because I think we may have issues with Matthews. He just doesn't look good so far:
 
I am geeked about the Blazers and you all should be too. Catch them live this Sunday at the RG . . . pair of 102 Row A seats, $100 for the pr. Can't pass that up. I think mags might even buy them for you.

He's an athletic freak, but he's still very young and very out of control. I think he'll grow out of it. I just don't think he's ready for big minutes. I'm not sure if I like him or Crabbe better. I doubt he gets much minutes when CJ comes back though.
 
If Robinson will just do what he did tonight and rebound the ball, he'll get a mid-level contract after his rookie deal expires.

Agreed. And if he keeps rebounding like tonight, I hope we pay him that money. It's getting him to settle down and accept his strengths and focus on them that'll be the victory.

The guy already rebounds at an elite level. The athleticism is there. If he really works on it, after a few years I think he could be a very solid player.
 
I don't care, I'm a big fan......and we didn't use the #5 pick to get him.
