Haha I agree with what BCB said, stay out of the National Enquirer dog.

China will never achieve its potential because it has no educated or skilled workers. It's increasing its economy now, because 90 cents per day is more than 40 cents per day

YOull see. When you liev in an outside country you see thing from a whole different perspective. I lived in Colombia and Spain and the world seems much more different there than here.

However, now I stand up and say it incorrectly for a joke and a laugh.. I have yet to say it correctly. I either mix up the words, say it with any random foreign accent (such as Apu's accent from the Simpsons or some Chinese accent), skip some parts and confuse fellow classmates, or make up my own Pledge of Allegiance.

Just to try and be funny?
I didn't sit during the Pledge to be funny; I now stand up for it to be funny. I always do the Nazi "hand over heart" thing.. If you don't know what I'm talking about, look for a clip of Hitler.Anyway, the reason I used to refuse to stand for it was because I didn't know what the purpose was of pledging allegiance to the American flag. I mean, most of the people who say the Pledge of Allegiance hardly understand what is coming out of their mouths and most of the people who do understand don't actually pledge allegiance to the U.S flag. In fact, they hate it because George W. Bush is in office.I didn't repeat the Pledge of Allegiance because I thought it was a waste of time. Why pledge allegiance? I'm here, am I not? I don't plan on leaving the U.S and deceiving my home country by giving away our "war plans" to enemy countries. I'm a U.S citizen and I don't think pledging allegiance is really worth much, unless you truly mean it.

Most people don't know what they're saying because they're stupid. I personally don't say the 'under god' part since I don't believe in it. And it's stupid to not pledge because you hate George Bush.Put it how I put it:I love America, but I hate Amurica. And may I ask how it's a waste of your time? It's not like the teacher's teaching in the middle of it. It's like 30 f*cking seconds max to say, and schools have an alotted time for it, so as not to take away from class time.I do pledge allegiance, but I also am interested in other countries. That doesn't mean that I'm not allegienced(sp) to America, it's just interest in other countries.

Hooray for America. The country where 2 celebrities die but aren't buried for weeks. The country where a 29 year old pedofile sneaks in and successfully joins a class of 12 year olds at their school. The country where an astronaut travels in her diapers cross country to kill someone that she's jealous about. The country where 23 year old teachers have sex with 5 middle schoolers( http://www.cnn.com/2007/US/03/01/teacher.a...t.ap/index.html ). God Bless America.
