I love that ATL and UTAH will have the most money to spend......... you couldn't pick 2 more different cities if you tried!

Houston and San Francisco? Buffalo and Phoenix? NE Portland and every other city on the planet?

MM, aren't you late for a Klan meetin'?

We traded Calvin Natt, Wayne Cooper, Fat Lever, and two draft picks for Kiki.
They went from 38-44 in 1984 to 52-30 in one season. Kiki had a couple great years for us, but injured his back and was never the same again.

Whats said is (quickly changing this because you meant the Nuggets and not the Blazers)...

In 1984, the year before the Blazers traded for Kiki, they won 48 games.

The year after? 42.

the year after that? 40.

It wasn't until the next year, 86-87, that they finally got back to where they were (record wise) before they traded for Kiki. 49-33.

They finally broke the 50 win barrier the next year (53-29), but kiki was injured for most of the season.

Not a good trade, imho.

Although Floppy Divacs for what turned into Kobe Bryant is worse. ;)

I forgot how much we gave up for Kiki!

Holy fuck!!!! Clippers with the insanely strong bench will have 18 million free? Wait a minute. Chris Paul will be getting paid, so they aren't even in the mix.

But WTF Atlanta has some cap space!!!! WTF?!?!

I believe the Clippers capspace is tied up in what they'll end up paying Chris Paul, and what they are paying Blake (which hoopshype at least doesn't have represented yet)

I wouldn't mind having Kyle Korver off the bench (not as the 6th man though)

Man, I love suburban kids!

I enjoyed that show. Always seeing those complete losers getting surprised when Chris Hansen comes around the corner and they're sportin' wood for a fake 14 year old girl or boy.

I was surprised with what I came up with when I wiki'd Lebanon, Oregon. Quite a few notable people, Ben Howland, Howard Hesseman from WKRP Cincinnati, Time Winters who played in MacGyver, killer Katherine Power and several pro athletes. Also, it is home to the World Largest strawberry short cake.

Color me impressed.

No Wookiees on Wiki? Come and see the violence inherent in the system! Come and see the violence inherent in the system! Help! Help! I'm being repressed!

Can somebody make it say hip hop legend The HCP is from there!

That singer who used to be one of the Dukes of Hazard boys has close relatives there. He did some kind of benefit there not too long ago. Not that I'm impressed, but, it's a slow Blazers day.

I don't understand why people think that Aldridge's numbers have dipped? Maybe FG%, but the dude's rebounding, assists, blocks and FT% are career highs. Maybe people are just sick of seeing Aldridge on this team I guess.

I'm wondering how trading away LMA for Monroe and some scrubs makes the team better next year. :dunno:
