All of us fans of the Portland Trail Blazers have a deep pain right now, but this season is not over. Losing Nurkic hurts like the dickens but he will be on that bench cheering for his teammates just like the rest of us, except he will be able to give advice. I am still optimistic that we can reach the second round, I have faith that Collins, Kanter, and Leonard will all give 100% of their effort and ability in the closing games and playoffs. Collins could very well have his coming out party similar to CJ in the Memphis series, it’s hard right now... but try to believe!

Tell me more about how this The Dickens guy hurt you... :smiley-elektro:

A) This is a pit, not a tunnel.
B) When you find light at the bottom of the pit - congratulations! You have reached the fires of hell. Sorry, seating for Blazer fans only.

I remember Johnny Carson had a good "light at the end of the tunnel " joke. It's not a light at the end of the tunnel, it's a guy with a flashlight looking for the bathroom.

For me the light at the end of the tunnel is not winning in the playoffs. I hope they do well but honestly, I can’t care the same way. The only light is when Nurk steps back on that floor all healed up and ready to go.

You can't care the same way? Sigh...

Smoke comes out of the tunnel..... then fireworks around it, Guile's theme starts playing and Nurk comes out of the smoke, triumphant.

Nope not the same at all. Trying to win a championship sans Nurk feels to me kind of like trying to go on a family vacation of a lifetime without my daughter because she’s sick.
Interesting analogy. I'd give it about an 8.5 out of 10.
