I got to the potential trade filler part and expected to see 6 or more Blazers. Oh well

So he can be pissed off here for coming off the bench?

1. He’s started every game he’s played in with the Kings

2. He explained that tweet had nothing to do with playing time, and he gets the benefit of the doubt because he’s always been an unselfish team guy.

3. Even if it were about it, I wouldn’t hold being upset about a decision the KINGS made against anyone.

As for playing time, he’s a guy that averages right around 30 minutes a night. With Hill and his length/defensive ability, we could expand the three guard lineup into something more than a temporary fix. And despite being a point guard, Hill is best used off the ball. The minutes would be there. He’d pretty much fill the role we’ve been wanting Turner to fill offensively.

After looking at this list I'm of the mindset that I'd rather we work out of the draft.

It isn’t so much that these guys (and others not listed) are the primary targets for a trade; it’s that they can now be included in trade packages for purposes of salary matching. It just opens up the market a bit.

Tyreke Evans.

He's been awesome this season and Grizzlies absolutely have to trade him. They are 8-20, they won't make the playoffs and he should have very good value across the league for teams who want to do something this season. Rockets could take him, I am not sure Celtics need another wing but he would fit in well there, Pelicans could do with him again and several other teams should be looking. Grizzlies will probably look for a pick or young player. Stanley Johnson from Detroit?

I've been down for Stanley Johnson project for over a year now. Don't throw his stats at me, I know. My intrigue is purely based off of what I saw in college/projection.

For about 3 years, all Olshey has had to do is, get a scoring small forward. They'd be easy to find if he'd scout 6 foot 6 players currently playing at guard in the NBA. We would win so many more games with a big scorer at SF, our weak position. Trade the overrated McCollum if necessary. We'd still win many more games than now.

But Olshey is snoring on the carpet next to his desk as usual.

I know Neil is the GM. But, When it comes to trading young players, specially core players I think it's more Paul than Olshey. I remember Pritchard being in a similar boat. That's probably why the Blazers feel the need to hang on to young players with the slightest bit of potential for so long.

What evidence is there that Paul Allen made Pritchard keep young players? I remember a couple of posters speculating, looking for someone to blame. You should forget wild guesses of the past, also of the present.

Our many forwards could cover defensively for our new hot-shooting 6-6 undersized SF who dribbles like a guard, but has one flaw that made him expendable as a guard.
