Of course I saw it. But if a conservative were to joke around in that manner, the reaction would have been quite different. I didn't find it funny. Growing up playing basketball on a team of 3 Caucasian kids and the rest being African American, I know they wouldn't have been amused by that either.
Can you imagine the immediate outrage, calls for resignation, protests, anger, marches etc if this was a conservative? The amount of double-standard will be interesting to see in the next few days.

Yes, I always look to the "Washington Examiner" for a fair and impartial analysis of the sayings and doings of Hillary Clinton.

Of course she was being sarcastic. And I'm sure the men involved know her and know full well that she doesn't think that. And as to "if a conservative said that"
(a) they WOULDN'T be joking, and
(b) it would be a welcome relief from the all-out race war that Trump is stoking as he gets more and more unhinged the closer Nov. 6 gets.

This is also one of the lowest black turnout for a president I think.

Even her husband got like 94%.

wonder if gerrymandering or voter suppression played a part in that? Look at what the republicans have been doing this year and this is just a midterm. The fact remains that Clinton had 89% of the black vote and trump had a measly 8%. It's pretty glaring and obvious who black voters preferred and it really isn't debatable

You think MAYBE that has something to do with the MASSIVE VOTER SUPPRESSION EFFORT the GOP has been ramping up since about 2010? I'd like to see a comparison in minority "voter turnout" in states that have instituted voter ID and purged rolls, versus states controlled by Democrats.

Even her husband got like 94%.
I don't get the "even" here.

Actually Bill Clinton got 83% of the black vote in 1992 and 84% in 1996.

I don't get the "even" here.

Voter suppression has happened for decades. It happened during the Obama campaign and her still turned out a record number of voters at 69 million. Clinton turned out a full 6 million less.

It wasn't just voter suppression.

And "even" means she can't "even" turn out as much as her husband did and she would've been the first woman president.

What I have observed over many years and especially now in this day of "political correctness" it's not necessarily about what is said, but more about who said it.

Watched the interview, it was pure racism which I've come to expect from Clinton pretty much any time she speaks to or about any minority. It's not the first time or even the 10th time and it's indefensible by any measure of decency. Hillary Clinton is a horrible, soulless monster.

Next you're going to say that she was kidding when she called half of America deplorable.

Oh, here's another time where she's just having fun with the audience...

I really hope she never runs again and the same for Trump too.

Talking of the Washington Examiner - they have an interesting editorial take today:

Duh. Nobody ever thought of that.

Let's see.....the hypocritical Republicans that speak like they're for the common man but bow to corporate money.

OR the race pandering Democrats that speak like they're for the common man but bow to corporate money.

Well...schucks. I guess the Republicans might want to round up them there Nazis and shoot them.
Shoot the Nazis? It all depends. Do they look like zombies?

Most problems in black society can be attributed to the family structure.

Creating and maintaining families has been hard. Poverty is a MF.

Speaking of poverty, did you know that when I was a boy of about 9 we had dinner times with nothing to eat? I can't tell you how many dinner meals I had that consisted of cornbread and milk.
Now, my wife insists that I eat whatever I want, be it lobster or prime rib or some sort of prime steak. This is because I bit the bullet and studied hard and became an engineer. Did I ever tell you that engineers rule? Yes, they do.
