Read it again. Comparable risks; those would be lung cancer and liver disease and that sort of thing

What makes lung cancer comparable to an accident? Maybe they should have left out the word "comparable" if they just meant the overall risk level.


That was one of my first thoughts, but then I realized their sample is plenty random enough and the results are what they are.

Not all all - what if the stoned people were there with complaints like "dude, my belly button is totally melting..."

That said, I favor legalization.

The Kaiser study also found that daily pot users have a 30% higher risk of injuries, presumably from accidents.

There have been numerous reports of pot-related accidents --- some of them fatal, belying the attractive myth that no one has ever died from marijuana.
