I'm pretty sure you don't know what irony is, and I'm the one who is not giving "psych evaluations in this thread". I'm actually saying that it is impossible to label somebody as "mentally ill" without a real psychiatric evalution.

just my opinion, but if these guys start getting taken alive, i think that may dissuade at least one future killing

from what I read, he did not take a shot for fear of hitting others. logic would dictate that to get into a position to be able to get a shot would take longer and leave you exposed
