This is a guy who is pretty good at rebounding because he does nothing else. For every board he grabs there's a missed defensive assignment, an open shooter waved off, or a stupid foul or careless turnover.

He can't even get minutes on one of the worst teams in the league. Houston should have to pay cash just to unload him.

I think this may have repercussions for Houston. Ask had the same deal from multiple teams but chose Houston because they offered him playing time and once they got Howard he requested a trade and was told it would happen but then hasn't happened and from the looms of it may not happen.
They are screwing with Adios future here and its not something agents are going to forget.

I'd do it. Gives us a lot of assets to make further moves. Lin would be a tremendous back-up PG. We would be a much better team THIS season should this trade happen. Wonder what sort of draft picks we'd be looking at. Assuming 2nds, but if there's a future 1st in there - like maybe 3-4 years down the road - that'd be terrific!

Until the cause of the swelling in Asik's knee has been identified and fixed, how can Houston get any value for Asik? Especially with that huge contract next year:
