On a related note, the only time I find navigation to be awkward is after making a post or reading the final post in a thread. It would be nice if there was a way to get back to the main Blazer page with a single click, rather than finding a TOP button and using the navigation links under the banner. The "Quick Navigation" menu currently seems to be anything but -- I would have to scroll through pages and pages of forums to find one in particular. Is there a way to quickly get back to the forum from the bottom of a thread? If not, could the navigation links that currently live at the top of the page also be placed at the bottom of threads, just above the "Thread Information" box?

I was working on something like that already. It wasn't a quick thing to add, though it should be. I'll get it done though.

ehhh liked the way it was before but i'm sure i'll get used too it. I didn't like the last layout at first either so this should be fine

i do not like it at all the old one was better and easier to read imho

Denny, is there a way to bring back the "today's posts" button?

Ugh. One thing I liked about S2, was that it ran more smoothly than that "other board". It no longer does. The lagginess is becoming real annoying.

For me the font size of the thread titles and the font of the posts are too small. Also that big space when quoting someone takes up screen space.

But the lay out is functionable enough that it shouldn't turn away posters . . . as long as the Blazer forum traffic is as active as it's been, this is the place to be.

Oh, I use Firefox and Chrome. The lag probably has something to do with IE. Maybe Denny can fix that.

I am logged in now with Chrome and the lag is gone when typing/posting.

The entire site seems to run faster with Chrome vs. IE.

There's a ">>" button on the top-right of that column. Clicking it will collapse the column.

My only problem with it is that even though I have it collapsed, it first renders every page with the column there, and then collapses it...which seems to slow the page loading and causes the page elements to jump around during the load (so it's not really possible to read a post as it loads).

It's a fucking nightmare on a mobile device. The first post of every page contains a large add to the right of the text, and then there's the "latest posts" column to the right of that. This squishes the first post of every page to about 8 characters wide, making it impossible to read and often impossibly long too. Mobile devices have been using the web for years now; can we at least see an effort to accommodate them?

There's an "archive" link at the bottom of any page. Click on that from your mobile device.
