Anyway, here's my take. It is painfully obvious to anyone that HCP is a family first person. Almost a little too much at times. It's also obvious that he jokes around with people, doesn't take himself too seriously (at least the persona presented here), and puts up with a LOT of cracks about his personal life. Both in the sense of jokes about his wife and also that he works in landscape (as a stereotypical joke, not a slight at people who do that).

So IF someone suggests theyre going to email the team/his bosses about his behavior on a message board, he's going to take that as someone crossing the line. I've had conversations with him on here, and his bosses do read what he writes/says. Some of that is his own fault, for admitting who he is/letting us know his name/into his "circle". But he lives in a different sorta world than most of us do, in that he has access to the players (in a way). So they don't want to find out that he's been talking about private stuff the players/team talks about or any other "inside info" he might hear that would be bad for business. Both theirs (the TV production side) and the Blazers.

They take this shit kind of seriously. And while he's kind of joking with the name change, there is more truth to that then he's letting on.

I'm sure if I joked that I emailed your boss (which I have no fucking clue where you work, so it's not like I could. Or would for that matter), you'd probably think "well fuck this guy". Even though I'm sure your boss would look at the email and go "what the fuck if s sports two? Why the fuck do I care what my employee does on his free time? Nancy (his secretary) call in Joe (your fake name). I need to talk to him....Joe? What the hell is a sports two? Oh, a message board full of Blazer fans and you're already boring me get back to work"

But if your boss took that kind of stuff seriously and let go other people for less, you'd probably be freaked out. Especially considering the nature of his job where I really doubt there's a huge market for people who do his job (cleaning the bathrooms).

All in all, I kind of wish more people would take my stance on this stuff. I tend to forget shit I say, tend to forget shit you say, and not take anything anyone here says seriously or personally. I'm not saying be more like me, good lord that'd be awful boring, but don't take stuff so seriously.

Here's another way to think about it (for both you and HCP). You brought up that "it's ok for" HCP to spread likes about you trying to get him fired. I can't speak for anyone but myself here, but I'm sure this applies to most, I'm not cognizant of him doing that nor am I really cognizant of you (allegedly) having done it. The only times I've seen it brought up is by you. Not trying to slam you, just pointing out something from another persons perspective.

But consider the following. You don't like how he "spreads" the lie about you trying to get him fired. Why would he say that (if he does)? Did you joke about it or comment to someone that you were going to do it? If so, can you blame him for being upset about it? Which is worse to deal with, thinking someone is going to email your boss and you could potentially lose your (major) source of income for you and your family, or someone on a message board "spreads" a lie about a made persona that no one outside of this forum knows about?

IF the name Orion Bailey is so tarnished by said rumor, change your name or better yet, stop bringing it up. Ignore it and it goes away.

Cippy was/is an immature poster who didn't handle debate very well, and always escalated things weirdly.

I personally don't think he should be banned, but that's only because I haven't had to deal with his antics to the degree that Sly does.

As for HCP and Sly being responsible for his banning, cippy is his own man. If he's incapable of dealing with other people's personalities/posting styles being different then his own, that's on him. We've all been there, where we don't see the forest for the trees. But eventually we mature and realize most of the battles aren't worth fighting.

No one forced cippy to respond in the manner he did.
