Thomas J. O'Toole Jr. was elected as the United States Golf Association's 63rd president on Saturday at the governing body's annual meeting in Pinehurst, N.C.
The 56-year-old O'Toole, who hails from St. Louis and has been with the organization in multiple roles since 1988, will serve a one-year term. O'Toole succeeds Glen D. Nager, who has been the USGA president the past two years.
