Poeltl went for 1.

OG with 1.5 yrs left has to go for at least 2 + a decent prospect. Honestly, I don't think he's worth all that. Let someone else overbid for this dude
 
I will say that with the Kyrie trade, then the Lakers trade and then KD moving to Phoenix this may be one of the craziest trade deadlines I've ever seen... especially after the experts were saying it could be a huge let down. In baseball and hockey I don't have a team and it's days like this that I wish I could look at the NBA as just a sports fan and not a dedicated fan of one team (our Portland Trail Blazer). Today has been crazy and I hope the next 12 and a half hours are just as crazy and against logic, I hope somehow we get in the mix in what has quickly become a much wilder Western Conference.

With things going as usual, that is - everybody just ignoring Portland... I mean, Blazers couldn't even land Vanderbilt and "Durant thread" was always a joke. With this, it seems to be good idea not to overpay. That could work at some point. Meanwhile, let's go after Royce O'Neal:)

Bridges and Grant are the kind of front court you want to play KD defensively in the West. You’d hope Walker and maybe a rookie forward like Jarace Walker can develop into lanky defenders to put on KD too.

I fucking love Dame. He surpassed my childhood idol Clyde and did it quite a while ago. That could be because I spent the first 10 years of my life in Portland raised as a fan of our Blazers only to be relocated to the east bay area of California. I spent my years from 10-19 loving the east bay and Oakland as my home but always loving my Blazers and arguing with what at the time were pathetic Warriors fans (just look up the Warriors in the 90s after Run TMC). Then after I'd left the bay Dame gets drafted by the Blazers, a guy raised in the east bay and drafted by my team.

With all of that said if the team isn't going to go ambitiously after a title with Dame leading the way, they need to trade him this off-season. Rebuild around Ant, Shae and what you get for Dame. If that is not what the team wants to do, then be true to Dame's request and show some fucking urgency and get a team around him that makes sense both as a roster and a roster being coached by Chauncey.

What they are doing so far (and I am waiting until tomorrow to pass judgment) seems like it is trying to play both sides of this situation and that WILL NOT WORK!!!

I would absolutely NOT do Sharpe for Bridges. However, if you could get Bridges for Ant and then re-sign Grant and go into next year with Dame/Sharpe/Bridges/Grant with GPII, a backup pg, Walker, and a real backup big off the bench, I’d be very happy.

Just wanted to see. I didn't want more or less. I have learned to never expect. Makes it so easy for me.

Eubanks will be out starter btw since Collins will be out 4-6 times for 4-6 months each.

if we want to land a 20 mil player, we either have to send out ant or jerami, or Nurk.

i sent out Nurk and got a replacement center who is a good defender.

We already have Eubanks. That'd be our replacement.

Collins will be out for 2 years.

Man I know some people quite well that are in their 20s and they aren't idiots but they use LOL if they feel awkward, if they don't understand something, if they think something is funny or if they just want some sort of punctuation.

If @DDolla is in his 20s that LOL crutch is just something ingrained in him but if he's in his 30s or later then this is a real problem and he should probably speak to a professional about it.
