I think you are over-estimating OG's defense and under-estimating Bridges.

Not discounting what you're saying, but it triggered something in my mind...didn't Marcus Smart win the DPOY and in no way deserved it over the people who lost (i.e., Bridges)?

I think the difference is more than slight. Bridges is far more durable and has been expanding his playmaking skills while being a better shooter and comparable defender. And given the long term contract he has compared to OG who will be a FA after next season, the gap between the two is pretty damn big to me.

Like I said, some people will hate it and like me and apparently you, others will love it. Ayton is the type of big, if his head is screwed on straight, that would flourish in Chauncey's system.

Grant and Nurk would make the Suns even more devastating in the upcoming playoffs but even with Dame we have a much longer shelf life than that team. KD and CP3 will fall off before Dame and then it's just Booker left picking up the pieces.

Those guys are getting way too down. It's not that dire. Thybulle is an elite on ball defender and far better at that than Grant.
