OG, Siakam, Vando. At least one will be a Blazer

Siakam
- would love it, but we don't have the pieces unless we are comfortable giving up Nurk +Simons AND Sharpe. (Which Portland wouldn't do.) Siakam/Birch for Nurk/Simons/Sharpe works, but....no chance.
OG - would love that too and this one is at least somewhat more likely, although Portland seems quite the longshot to get OG because we don't have 1st round picks. Nurk/Simons/ie GB3 for OG/Birch/Boucher works
Vando - by far the most likely, although other teams have inquired as well. Vanderbuilt for Winslow is almost dead even salary wise. Portland would have to throw in a 2nd or two.

Hart & Winslow for
Noel & Bey - we get back a legit rim protector/5 and a 3 & D dude.

Would love that. Bey still has a lot of potential, but I can't see the Pistons giving him up (+ Winslow) for Hart/Winslow.

Not sure Bey will come off the bench if they start Cunningham at three which they probably will?

And that is why he is available. I just don't think Hart/Winslow gets it done with Noel also coming back. Would love it if that happened.

TORONTO - Raptors forward O.G. Anunoby will not be in the lineup when Toronto hosts the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday.

Due to his wrist injury.....but it is convenient timing for a player rumored to have so much interest.

Ok would you

Simon’s/ Hart/ other player not named Sharpe and maybe picks or pick swaps
For
OG/Trent Jr

I know we’d probably need to add pieces but better balance to our roster and makes us way better defensively. We’d have to negotiate something with Chicago to make pick unprotected. Not sure I’d do this I wouldn’t want to give up Simons I thinks offensively he’s a special talent

If New Jersey really wants Siakam, I think it's more likely they get him than us.

What if Toronto just really wanted to shake things up, keep their two best young players in Barnes and Anunoby and get rid of an expiring and a couple dead contracts?

Toronto gets Claxton, Dinwiddie, Simmons, Curry and Finney-Smith.

Give up Siakam, Boucher. Trent, Young and Porter.

Does New Jersey need to give up a draft pick also?

I think those recently acquired Jersey players would have to be traded separately and alone but I think there are matching salries.

According to The Athletic (subscription required), Nerlens Noel is wanted by up to 6 teams, but they didn't list Portland as one of them.

"The Celtics are one of six teams that have called the Detroit Pistons to inquire about big man Nerlens Noel, The Athletic's James L. Edwards III reported Sunday. The Miami Heat, Philadelphia 76ers, Denver Nuggets, Dallas Mavericks and Sacramento Kings are the other known suitors, per Edwards."

They're also printing money so in theory, 51 mil is pretty inconsequential
$131M between this and next season. Definitely not inconsequential. The team is worth a lot but on an annual basis not many teams want to spend that much money. Wiseman is going to go somewhere potentially and be a steal.

Any reason why you remain so high on him? He has looked like a colossal bust every time i have seen him.

Feels like he kinda slipped thru the cracks in the 2020 draft with his injury in college and insufficient scouting cuz of covid. Had he been thru the regular scouting process, i dont think he would have gone lotto.

Maybe. But no one knows. He never plays. He had some injuries but even when he’s healthy Kerr doesn’t play him. I don’t hear people around the team say he’s a bust. He has been available to play in 43 games this year and played 20, for 12 mins per game. He came into the league as a teenager. He doesn’t get any time.

I would gladly swap GPII for Wiseman - even if it is a big bust. It's the low risk/high reward type moves we need to be looking at.

All this talk and watch Sell Low Joe do nothing.

doesn't seem like there really has been much talk. We always hear about interest for this player or that player

the most substantial chatter has been about Vanderbilt. Actually, most of the chatter has been about Hart

I think Cronin is sitting at the poker table with a 2, 3, and a 6, and he's trying to fill the gutshot straight by drawing a 4 & 5. He simply has bad cards, some of it his fault, most of it not

He dealt a face card for no reason last year with Powell.

He went out and signed GPII and I have no idea what value he has around the league.

Yeah, it is fun to come up with all these trade scenarios, but in the end, it just makes it worse for the fans who actually believe they will happen.

keeping Powell made little sense. My hunch is the instructions out of Seattle made it nearly impossible to keep more than one of CJ, Powell, and Ant. Keeping two was going to have too much money invested in undersized SG's

why the fuck he signed Payton I have no clue

And he's on the river. Never chase a straight on the river. Especially, a gutshot straight.
