I'm all out on the Ben train after being at the forefront for years. That guy sucks.

the guys i want to pry from BK are Bridges or Cam.

Bridges has to be #1 on Dame's list of targets. Dame had him be a counselor at his camp this summer and had him in Cabo for his bday bash.
 
I'm so glad the Blazers didn't attempt to go all-in this season. Would've been a total waste!

If they would give back some draft capital I'd give up Ant and Nurk for him but looking at what the Nets are doing I don't think that's what they'd want. I was just trying to say that due to Simmons being 26 and his value being at an all time low, I think it's either unlikely or at best a 50/50 chance that the Nets will trade him right now despite the tweet I was replying to that said it was going to happen.

I suspect that the trade hasn't been submitted yet and Cronin might be trying to do that

not to get Simmons...that's nuts, but to do more than he has. Otherwise the Blazer have to waive a player, likely Greg Brown

What if you could get him on the cheap?

I can't see any reason for the Nets to try and trade Bridges, Johnson, Claxton. Keeping solid young talent is exactly what they need to do. Dumping them and becoming the worst team in the league so the Rockets get the #1 pick doesn't make much sense.

ant and nurk for ben is a ridiculous overpay.
 
The Blazers window wasn't event open and it somehow just got slammed shut.
 
This will be an exciting West Playoffs minus the Dame-no help Blazers

Not to talk about nonsense but that is a 6 for one deal that would put us down 5 players but put us more than 6M under the tax. Each vet min player at this point of the season can only cost a team 700k at the very most. So we could definitely do that on our end. On the Nets end they'd have to cut like 5 guys on their existing roster... so that would be a major sticking point I would imagine.
 
Exciting to see what new, aggressive ownership can do. Some day it'll be our turn!

We would be sending out 4 and getting 1. So we'd only need to replace 3 players.
