Most encouraging sign: Leonard looked decent! Blake actually has better handles than I remember. I hope the People's Champ does get minutes, because he livens up any game. But the top seven is set with Blake and Kaman, and #8 is going to be a dogfight.

Who WAS their bench? Morey can restock the scrubs pretty much at will. Remember that D-League guy who lit us up with three pointers?

How is Houston the same, considering they lost their backup and sometimes starting PG in Lin, lost their backup C and lost Chandler?

I'm sorry but Trevor Ariza does not match Lin, Asik and Parsons.

The Lakers were a 27 game winning season. Yes, they got Kobe back, but it's not like that team is full of great talent.

Could and "should" does not mean that west IS better.

Minnesota got worse, Utah isn't anything great, Denver isn't either, nor is Sacramento. I think the West pretty much stayed the same if anything.

Probably genetic predisposition. The kleptomania, however, is more worrisome IMO.

I think it was a post by BigGameDamian, in which he stated he heard a rumor that Dame loves to drink.

In the thread that Sly started about Damian Lillard inviting him (Sly) to his brothers party, BGD stayed that someone should watch Damian because "I've heard he drinks like a fish".

So the rest of us are making fun of it, because it was so stupid.

Jeremy Lin is supposedly outplaying everyone at Lakers training camp. Those d league guys probably aren't that good.

I think the biggest think Portland has going for it and its the thing that I bitched and moaned about most of the summer. They didn't make any changes. They will be better because of that. I think they are better than Houston, Dallas, Pelicans just because they do know each other. They may not be any better in regular season because I think a 21-3 to start will be hard to replicate but I think they are better overall. Wouldn't surprise me if they win it all.

The post-game show ended. They said stay tuned for a repeat of Game 6 vs. Houston. I've been waiting 3-4 minutes and the screen is still blank, and no, I'm not looking at the wall. Maybe I should refresh and no, I don't mean get a refill.

You mean that one three pointer that won them a game but then our non d-league guy hit a 3 pointer to win the series? That guy?
 
The bottom bowl was full. 1/4 of the 300 deck was as well......great turnout!
