It's a disappointment since he was the main ball-handler for WSU in his last year there.

His defense looks good. That is what I mostly care about. He's asked to do too much on this team. But on the actual roster he's a bit player that shoots spot ups and plays hard on defense. I can see why he's drawn to Norm. Both were drafted 46. Both not heavily recruited out of high school. Both need to work really hard on their shot.

They even signed the same contract in their rookie season. 2 years guaranteed without a 3rd or 4th year option. Hopefully some of Norm's work ethic is rubbing off on Elleby. Norm also couldn't shoot his first few years.
 
My God I despise these announcers. It's the same old Doris Burke show. Not one single iota of basketball analysis. Just constant diarrhea of the mouth talking about everything she can think of that's completely unrelated to the game going on in front of her. It drives me crazy. It's the same reason I completely stopped watching MLB decades ago. I could not stand Bob Costas and Tim McCarver talking and talking and talking and talking while I was trying to watch a fucking baseball game. GAHHH!
 
Ellerbes shot hasn’t developed at all since last year. It’s not even that he’s missing. He’s missing BAD.

I haven't seen a shot yet from CJE even hit rim, much less come close to going in.
 
Hopefully they sign Brown to a contract longer than 2 years. Dude needs time. There's no ROI on a 2 year deal for him.

Love Chauncey talking about generating more corner 3s. We were one of the worst teams in the league last year at shooting corner 3s volume wise. Also like that he's talking about drive and kicks. I'm just not sure about that since I'm not very confident in the driving and kicking ability of any of our guys sans Dame...
 
Listening to Billups is like a breath of fresh air after Stotts who at some point I believe started to coast in his job and just rely on Dame to do everything and he could just sit back and reap the rewards.
 
I want to see what Chauncey offense looks like

Blakeney can flat out score in every way. He has a place in the league.
