I know there already is a thread about this, but it has kinda died lately. Merge if you must Nazi-Mods.

Question: What do you want to see in the new TV contract and with who? What would benefit you the most as a viewer/fan?

Blazers need a new replay guy.

I just want the damn games to be available on DirecTV, Comcast, Dish, Verizon FIOS, etc. The major players in broadcasting. That way we get the most exposure possible, and easily consumed by the fans. Having it on Comcast only, with few others being able to get it really sucked.

As long as people can see the damn game I am cool with whatever else. (Except more commercials...).

I want drones following each player so the games can be broadcast in VR. And I want a way to interact with the coaching staff during games.

I want drones following the opposing team's players that we on this board can control. "Durant goes up for an alley-oop! Wait, what's that coming up behind him? Oh, my god!!"

Any deal that allows you to keep your job.

I'm in the minority, aside from many fans not having access to games due to the current contract, Comcast I think will give you the most in depth coverage on not only the Blazers. But in depth on most local sports if they are able to keep contract with Blazers. They have built their network for this particular area. They are already established and they will continue to grow. Do you think you will get Talking Ball or that other corny show after each and every game on root or on a streaming service? The reason you are getting that coverage is because they have nothing else to show and they built their network around this contract.

With that said, if they can't get Comcast to move in negotiations, they need to walk away from a deal and sign with Root or maybe even stream it. Fans need access to the team. And not just some of them.

Those corny shows are terrible and need to go. Count me OUT for keeping those around. The production quality is abysmal and resemble some B-rate movie/show.

You just want to up your thread count in fear of someone else might pass you.

I want us to sign a deal with Netflix and become the first ever team to sign an exclusive deal with a streaming service.

That would be out-freakin-standing! We could be the Cubs/Braves of the 80's in terms of access to a broader audience. Having a national voice like Calabro's would go well with that option as well.

No. Let comcast rot away. Fuck them.

Exactly, they bring nothing to the table of value. Plus, if they left CSN, we could finally be rid of dwight jaynes once and for all.

I want all game televised and accessible to as many people as possible.

I chose Comcast because of them televising Blazers games. But am OK/fine with Root or Fox Sports too, as I can also watch that channel on Comcast cable tv.

I hope for others, that all games would also be able to be streamed live. Why not?
