Cippy was a forum member who had issues with several posters...he was a big Joe Rogan fan I remember. I never thought Cippy was racist but he did have a "playing devil's advocate" addiction in my view.

Was he the one that got banned for telling a story with the hard N word? And I called him out on it. That might have been a different person. All of these chuds kind of blur together.

Couldn't agree more.....I'm surprised I even remembered his name...I think there's a lot of arguing for the sake of arguing that goes on here that doesn't give much thought before picking a side. I remember the last time I recall having a post edited or removed was when I told Cippy that he was letting his swastika tattoo show too much and he had a meltdown. I wish there was a way for people to see that their comments are racist or shaped by some racist belief without calling them racist (because they lose their shit when you do).

I think he was banned for a lot of things, he had multiple rampages. What you're remembering might have been part of it, I don't recall the incident personally but I'm in and out of this forum and miss a lot of stuff.

I have seen very little racism in this forum and the few times i have it was from the subject during this discussion. You do realize that by saying this forum is racist that he is also pointing the finger at mods as if you guys are condoning racism. What makes him the expert and the right to call out others as racist? I have seen a few suspects , but nowhere near the claim by dviss as calling others racist that he has no clue about should be taken seriously and as a person take offense to those that like to toss out broad claims of racism with no proof. Sounds like trump to me.

There isn't a ton of explicit racism, though it exists. There's plenty of inadvertent or passive racism, as well as coded racism. One thing that bigots in this country have learned is that explicit racism is frowned upon, so they've moved on to using coded references, emulating the dog whistles that politicians have been using for generations.

I agree with there being coded and subversive racism that exists, absolutely. The only problem is the white liberals who write the narrative are completely incapable of detecting it, and are busy turning over rocks looking for pronouns while politicians who write crime bills become president.

Apparently a suit and a D next to your name is enough “coding” to fool the liberal constituency.

So it's the democrats that are racist and the republicans aren't? That's a great take seeing as how the southern states still view people of color and those are all mainly red states and the president unelect is a huge racist.
 
I am virtually against the death penalty. I would make exceptions for guys like Gaddafi and Osama bin Laden or anyone else where it could be proved that such an execution would save lives. My religion prevents me from supporting executions of people we could safely lock up.

America's no. 1 problem.
The Biden/Harris administration has it pegged as one of America's top ten problems without saying where it ranks in the top ten. Fine, but I wish everyone would identify it as near the top of the list and in my opinion at the top of the list.
This dispute between Big Dog and dviss 1 shows how much more work we have to do. In the words of Robert Frost "...and miles to go before I sleep." I can only imagine the hardships people like dviss 1 have had to endure and still have to endure. I think we all should be sensitive to that.
