Not to answer for TBpup, but there seems to be at least some reason to believe that the primary email quoted by the NY Post is authentic. The recipient, Tony Bobulinski was quoted yesterday as saying it was "genuine". He's been asked by the FBI to sit down for an interview with them today.

Am I buying the whole story? No, not yet. Do I think that there's reason to question Joe's "nothing to see here" attitude? Yup. Do I think that Giuliani has been holding this for an October surprise smear and is pretty much a dirt bag? Yup. In other words, situation normal for an election these days in the good ol' US of A.

Tony Bobulinski was trump's guest at the debate last night. That doesn't prove anything but it does raise some questions about him and his motivations

It means Trump wanted to put him out on display. Pretty standard for political theater these days. I don't think that there's any question about him having been Hunter Biden's business partner. His motivations in coming forward are unknown at this point. Presumably, the FBI is able to filter wheat from chaff when it comes to statements like this. I see that Fox News says they've seen the emails and that there's nothing that directly implicates Joe:

"Fox News has reviewed emails from Bobulinski related to the venture — and they don't show that the elder Biden had business dealings with SinoHawk Holdings, or took any payments from them or the Chinese. Still, the issue does give rise to unanswered questions about how much the former vice president knew of his son's business arrangements at the time, an issue that President Trump recently spotlighted during his campaign."

I don't think that this whole thing will have any impact on the election, especially given the early voting and the lack of coverage by "mainstream media". If the Republicans hold the Senate, though look for more "investigation".

LOL...c'mon man. Nobody attempted to "assassinate your character"

people disagree here, and what was said in this thread was pretty mild

and by the way...about the "simply asking a question" stuff. There are simple questions and loaded ones, and yours was loaded. I mean, I simply asked a question too when I asked if you were objective

I totally tried to assassinate @TBpup's character when I posted the Uncle Joe Chinese Restaurant link. I've had lunch with him before at a chinese restaurant. There was a incident, it wasn't pretty.

Did the incident involve farm animals? Come on, I know it did. You are way more kinky than I've given you credit, Asian women and farm animals. I've a new found respect for you.

All I can say is @TBpup showed up in Hyundai's version of the Porsche Boxster.

I don't know what a Porshe Boxter is. Is that some sort of flimsy underwear used to excite exotic women? I'm really hoping it is 'cause then I'll want to buy the store out of all their stock.

thanks for the update

you watch fox so I don't have to....:)

...pretty sure those are called Mazda Miatas lol

As someone who have had a Mazda Miata for over 20 years and have seen so many friend's Boxsters blow their engines because of the dreaded IMS bearings - this is an insult to Miatas. (To be fair, 2009 and later Boxsters are very nice cars, if you do not mind a sports car that is not that engaging at normal speeds and needs to be pushed hard to be a lot of fun in everyday use).

I would not kick a Boxster Spyder dropped thanks to a generous donor from my driveway, but if I have to spend my own money on a new sports car, I would go for a ND.2 Miata over any Boxster sold. It will be much cheaper initially, much cheaper in the long run and more fun in 95% of the circumstances. On the other hand, I will not have a Porsche keyring to impress young girls (but than, I am not really interested in being a Rudy Giuliani type) or people that equate speed with fun.

FWIW - Hyundai does not make a RWD sports car to the best of my knowledge. They make a very nice hot-hatch and hot-hatch coupe in the i30 / Veloster.

When I am spending money on semi-exotic cranky sports cars - I go full cranky and get Alfa Romeos.

Interesting since there is no where I assumed anything. Also interesting that I was just wondering if the same investigative/questions/assumptions would be applied on both sides. Guess I got my answer. Instead of addressing the original question, I was questioned personally. Perhaps I shouldn't be surprised.

...please, just stop.

As someone who have had a Mazda Miata for over 20 years

...please tell me you are chapter president of your local Miata club! Had a co-worker 15 years ago in So Cal that would do these big meetup rallies for Miata owners, I thought he was joking at first.

Nope. Was never one for single marque car clubs.

I bought mine in 1996 at Broadway Toyota in Portland. Used it as my first race car for about 4 years, decided I was good enough to graduate to a Lotus which I ran for about 8 years, decided to go vintage racing (much cheaper, you could run an entire season on the same set of tires) and moved to Alfas. The Miata stayed with me through all these years as my daily driver. I still have it, unfortunately, the SoCal sun has not been kind to it (It is parked outside) so it's paint looks like shit, otherwise tho, it still run like a top and is still tons of fun. It is slow enough that you have to work to make it go fast, but so balanced that it is always rewarding to do so.

Mine has about 160,000 miles and for a car that spent 4 years as a race car, all these years as a daily driver, parked outside for the last 8 or 9 years and has been all over the west coast with me - I can't imagine any car that would still run that well despite all the abuse. Say what you want about these little cars, they are very good cars. You do not become the best selling sports car of all time for no good reason.

Only thing I wanted to do with it and never could was run it as a rally car, regulations required a hardtop and a welded in cage - and I like it too much as a convertible - so it never got to do that. I suspect that it would have done real well with a raised suspension. I ran a BMW E30 as a rally car for about a year - and it was a hoot, and to me at least these BMWs with the M42 engine were as close to a 4 door Miata as you could get. Unfortunately, mine was totaled when a guy in a van ran into it when I was standing at a red light in North Portland. Would have probably kept it forever as well.

Anyway, I had faster cars, I had better handling cars (Lotus), I had cars with more feedback (Alfas, Lotus), I have had much more powerful cars - but the Miata is still my favorite everyday, usable sports car.

This sheds some real light on the subject.
Thanks.

So it's all true. People discussed Hunter Biden in emails! If this doesn't prove Joe Biden is corrupt I don't know what does.

I call for a special prosecutor. There are so many questions that need to be asked.
