Yeah while the republicans had I think 16 candidates I couldn't believe that the Dems could only come up with 2. I could see that now...............

"Look Bernie Baby, listen up, Hilary is our candidate & we've already informed every one else not to run but we certainly can't have her running against herself so we need a sought of buffer just to make it interesting. So what do you say, will you do it"?

"Sure but you do realize I'm 90 years old & can barely talk & if I win I'll probably die within my first year".

"Oh Bernie, you're such a kidder"

LOL it's funny but it's so true. I give Bernie credit for getting people on his side and I doubt anybody thought he would do this well. He has certainly held his own.

Which should scare you when you think of how the Dems rigged this election for her. She basically had 400+ delegates in the bag before even deciding to run thanks to the idiotic Super Delegate rules.

...not 100% sure but can't "super delegates" change their mind?

...not 100% sure but can't "super delegates" change their mind?

They can as they're not pledged until the actual convention. The sad reality though is that unless Sanders is going to start winning contests by an 80/20 margin those SD don't really matter anyway. I just don't like how the media has always included them in Hillary's count from day one. I don't recall that ever being the case because to me it can sway the process. If I was making the rules the Super Delegates wouldn't be allowed to make their vote known until the convention or a date much closer to it. These states all have specific dates for their caucuses yet the Super Delegates from these same states put their vote out there whenever they want.

...the FBI investigation might help...but when will we know?...who knows.

I also look at the DNC's explanation of the SDs as ridiculous. Bascially, to stop any grass roots campaign from derailing a true Democrat and their campaign. Well what in the hell is that? That's pretty much saying to make sure Bernie Sanders doesn't interfere with Hillary running for President. So we will have a farcical (Al Michael's says hi) election to make believe we're actually using a democratic process to elect an candidate.

...funniest thing I heard today...CNN talking about Rubio's chance in Florida, "Is today "Goodbye Rubio Tuesday?" (Rolling Stones song reference)

LOL I don't think he's a bad guy but he has been too easily made to look like the little kid in the room.

...yeah, Rubio should have been much more assertive early on and some of his mud slinging with Trump probably hurt him too.

The night Christie smacked him around on his repeated Obama quote seems to have started his downfall.

nice pun, reference ie...."when it comes to every new day, still I'm gonna' miss you"....

...gotta admit, I gained a lot of respect for Marco Rubio tonight after watching/hearing his concession speech.

Yeah Ron, The Other Idiots are a Bunch of LIARS. Trust me I can Tell just by Looking at Them. :bgrin:

Rubio dropped out so now I think we'll see a big swing toward Cruz as I think he'll end up getting the majority of Rubio's supporters.

...many people have said that Rubio's political future was on the line yesterday and that if he lost Florida it would destroy his career...I simply don't believe that, I think he's learned from his mistakes and still has a bright future.
...hearing the man speak last night he seemed almost relieved that the presidential race is over for him and spoke much more eloquently than I have ever heard him speak...and instead of simply spouting political correctness, he spoke of basic core values, something that really impressed me and something that has been sorely missing from the GOP campaigns.

...no, I don't think we've heard the last of Marco Rubio.

You don't think so??? Hey Ron, When is The next Televised Debate. I would Like to Watch it.

I'm still waiting for the Trump train to "derail"...... as if guys like Cruz and Kasich stand a better chance to energize, mobilize and bring out the swing voter, blue collar, independens, Reagan Democrats, "Evangelicals", unemployed and those who have been screwed by bad foreign business deals as their jobs were "outsourced" overseas or south of the border. Cruz is a nasal twanged rigid ULTRA CONSERVATIVE with the charisma of an undertaker who can't speak more than 20 seconds without trying to impress us about what he knows about "the Constitution".

Imho- There are just TOO MANY Americans who are convinced Trump is the guy who will demand to see asses and elbows, get things done
against the LEFT'S agenda....and THEY will stay home if the GOP tries and screw Trump out of the nomination.

Trump has THE GOP by the balls and they should/soon smarten up and stand behind him if he remains the CLEAR leader.

Not to mention another "little detail" like having the balls to reiterate and making it one of his main policies to literally build a wall to help protect and secure our damaging southern border not only to keep hordes of unknowns crossing the border- but just as importantly drastically halting the flow of DRUGS into our country which is turning pristine little towns into zombie land of the children.

Wake up and get on board.....imho- it's Trump or at least four years of a weak left-leaning American style Angela Merkel. Imo

Cruz is a good man, so is Kasich (and Rubio).....but (imo) they won't and don't have the balls to go after Hillary like Trump will.

And all those polls who CURRENTLY have Trump losing to Hillary in the general election aren't worth much more than a sheet of toilet paper because in the words of Trump: (bless his heart):
"I haven't even begun on Hillary yet".

By the way....I could be wrong, but Trump, is still the only GOP candidate who has more than once said:
"if the govt does their job, she may not be even able to run". (for Prez)

IMO Cruz will now inherit the majority of Rubio's supporters. And if Kasich drops out in all likelihood his also which would pretty much give him the nomination IMHO. My only regret though is if that happens I'm going to miss hearing Trump rip Hilary a new asshole because you know he would have thrown EVERYTHING at her. And I just don't see Cruz going down that avenue.

The media will create 1001 narratives between now and November to keep things as interesting as possible. The bottom line is that the only thing that matters in the general election is the electoral map. If you go back to 2012 the GOP to defeat Hillary will need to flip 63 electoral votes. The key states that will be looked at in order to do this are Florida, Michigan and Ohio which account for you guessed it 63 votes. Without those states the GOP has absolutely no chance. Now regardless about how you feel about him if you don't want Hillary to win who has the best chance to win those states? Trump murdered Cruz in Florida and Ohio and won by double digits in Michigan. As I've tried to say these elections boil down to simple math.

Bingo! And Trump will continue to hammer home how the Democrats and Republicans (including Congressman/Gov Kasich) just didn't do enough to prevent jobs from those rust belt/ midwest states from being exported.

Remember how Reagan "bargained" with the Russians? lol...
..and all of the resulting benefits of "The Star Wars" (SDI) program which also created and advanced technology benefitting the average American?

Trump!

Given the map beating Hillary is a tremendous uphill battle. That's why I laugh at these National Polls. It's very simple. Florida, Ohio and Michigan with Florida being the biggest key but the other two states being needed as well. The rest of the map you could most likely color in red and blue right now and it won't change except for maybe a couple of smaller states.

500 billion $ trade deficit with China, and probably upwards of 100 billion losing to Mexico and Vietnam combined, not to mention the billions Bill Clinton- George Dubya- Obama have sent to uncooperative phony "friends" like Saudia Arabia, Pakistan, ect......

I could be wrong, but I believe a "Trump Presidency" will do a much better job of holding their feet to the fire (of course!) and curtailing so much "aid" until THEY SHOW US more than the usual charade/masquerade.....I've heard him say months ago when asked or told that "we" need their "help"....
He simple emphasised:
"look, we can do what we need to do WITHOUT THEM if we need to".

Refreshingly simply brilliant, succinct and accurate......IMO.

The continued screeching voice I have to hear from Hillary Clinton when she's on television is just too much too take. I had two questions for her last night after watching the speech. 1) What the hell are you so bitter and angry about? She just swept every contest and she's on stage with this angry face acting more like a teacher scolding an unruly classroom than a winning candidate. 2) If Obama has been so wonderful and set this country on such a wonderful path explain to me why you need to make America whole again? Also, why did you spend most of a victory speech pretty much talking about how everything in the country is crap? The woman is ridiculous yet her followers cheer with glee no matter what she says or does.

...yup (I won't say "bingo" because, well...)...if Trump is nominated no way he is elected.

...my wife absolutely cannot stand Hillary...she went off on her again last night during that speech...even I won't type the words my wife was using to describe Hillary.

He was the one bragging last night (2nd super Tuesday) after NOT WINNING a single state about how he has beaten Trump "time and time and time again"... lmao.....while Trump was cleaning his clock.
