...^^^Matts, I'm not buying Trump's assertion that hamstringing the EPA is a win...the cutbacks will result in payroll reductions that are a drop in the bucket when compared to the overall budget...I'm also a believer that fossil fuels do more harm to the environment than they help the economy.

...I cannot believe what I'm seeing from the GOP... they are too stupid to even save themselves from themselves.

What? Im curious what economy would exist without fossil fuels?

The "fossil fuel" Matts and I were talking about was coal...as far as gasoline, the only reason it is still the primary fuel for autos is because the oil companies want to suck every penny they can out of it before other "cleaner" options are put to use.

^^^^^^
having Oil Baron's in high positions of our govt, from G.W. Bush, to Cheney, now Tillerson, is not necessarily a good thing for alternative fuels, or building an economy without oil, or less of it....

and yeah Comey has no credibility left...

Comey lost credibility from both sides, he should have resigned. Forcing termination was his final political act of many.

Maybe Comey was the Russian plant to influence the election......

It is not so much he fired the Director of FBI, it is the timing that is questionable.......and today he
opens his doors for the Soviet ambassador. Typical Trumpian move.

^^^^Tom, you must read too many espionage books! LOL.

^^^^... excellent read, thanks 59 -

'Trump had a very big motive to fire Comey and install a loyalist. Comey was overseeing the investigation into the Trump campaign’s numerous strange ties with the Russian government.'
("the one senior official whom President Trump did not appoint and one who is known to stand up to power).”

'The president is lying about firing a top law enforcement official, and he is almost certainly lying to protect himself and his aides from a full investigation into their own activities.'

1st the Judicial DA's office with puppet Sessions...
now the F.B.I. is compromised as well.

“We are in a full-fledged constitutional crisis.”

excerpt:

Not since Watergate has a president dismissed the person leading an investigation bearing on him, and Mr. Trump’s decision late Tuesday afternoon drew instant comparisons to the “Saturday Night Massacre” in October 1973, when President Richard M. Nixon ordered the firing of Archibald Cox, the special prosecutor looking into the so-called third-rate burglary that would eventually bring Nixon down.

In his letter firing Mr. Comey, the F.B.I. director, Mr. Trump made a point of noting that Mr. Comey had three times told the president that he was not under investigation, Mr. Trump’s way of pre-emptively denying that his action was self-interested. But in fact, he had plenty at stake, given that Mr. Comey had said publicly that the bureau was investigating Russia’s meddling in last year’s presidential election and whether any associates of Mr. Trump’s campaign were coordinating with Moscow.

"Our president is a liar, and we need to find out how serious his latest lies are."

I never knew so many voters could not see thru Trumps charade, and Hillary's lies...

the election imo, should of been a brokered convention, but CPAC made sure to fund/install this lunatic; enemy of the state, and national disgrace of a carpetbagger...

Trump warns Comey not to testify! Is this true?

Twitter CEO loves trump. I wonder why? :blazerwookie:

Holy shit! This guy is off the rails......when trump speaks, he is actually talking about himself. His circle is getting smaller and smaller. He trusts no one.
He will always be in attack mode. With Trump, always follow the money......More and more he is becoming The Fake President.(could not resist since everything to him is fake).
