...find anything "quirky" about someone only getting 40% of the vote but getting 47% of the delegates?....derp.
Couple of more observations:
Trump currently has 950 delegates,
Cruz 560,
Kasich (lol) still has less than Rubio and has kept his sterling record of winning ONE state in tact.
There are 622 remaining primary delegates- Trump needs 287.
Cruz' "turning point" of Wisconsin seems like a distant memory..…with the help of the union busting scab Gov Walker and home based likewise anti-labor speaker of The House Ryan.
Talk about a couple of guys who'll need more than prayers if
they ever ran for POTUS.
lmao
Trump cleaned Cruz' and the rest of the field's clock in the south including Florida while Cruz barely got 44% of his home state.
Trump got over 60% of HIS home state while Cruz was laughed out of the place. Kasich won HIS home state (with 47% ) with Trump finishing a respectable 2nd with 35.6%.
Trump IMO will carry Texas in the general election vs Hillary, will bring Ohio, Pennsylvania, NY, NJ and certainly Florida (which has gone Blue the past two Pres elections) into play.
In this latest "Super Tuesday" slaughter by Trump - he has gotten no less than 54.4% IN EACH STATE with the runner up reaching a high water mark of 28.5% followed by 24.4% then lower, and lower ect.......
....how's
that for quirky? lol
Must admit, Cruz is excellent at winning delegates in states (2) where the population wasn't allowed to vote. He really is on the ball!
Otherwise, Trump has won almost three times as many states as Ted.
Too bad Cruz just hasn't been quite smart enough, had the right stuff and message to gain more delegates the good old fashion way, by winning more votes and states.
Be interesting to see if that stupid guy Trump is able to somehow find a way to get the necessary dozen or two delegates he might need IF he falls short of the 1237 before the convention - after all, he claims he has experience, savvy and the know how to "get things done" and negotiate.
Just two questions for the seasoned pundits:
Anyone have a ballpark figure of just how many American jobs are being lost as a result of Obama's TPP "deal" which was endorsed by Senator Cruz- And how many jobs were lost including OHIO from NAFTA which Congressman Kasich voted for?
derp!
