...holy shit!...what was that?...Apaches?
Yep, Boeing made 7 Variant Models of the bad ass mofo AH-64 Apache's. The armament they carry is mind boggling.
In that video, they're using the
1,200 round Automatic 30mm Cannon's (M230).
In addition they can carry up
16 rotary launched (AGM-114) Hellfire Anti-Tank missles.

76 ea., Hydra-70 Rocket/Missles.
Both the AGM Hellfires, and Hydra's can carry numerous warheads, all GPS guided pinpoint accurate munitions.
I love this quote on the Apache's nomenclature:
The AH-64 has a large amount of systems redundancy to improve combat survivability.
Hellfire's on the LH, Hydra's on the RH side of pic-

Imo, the coolest Bunker Buster GPS guided Missle was built right there in Perry, GA. The TSSAM. That 1 Mil $$ a copy was the very first Stealth Missle, GPS guided; and accurate within 3"....
(once upon a time, one could see bomb bunkers on the West Side of off of I-75, from 1995 until they bulldozed 'em after Y2K)
The treat of building these weapons platform ships, is getting to see the ouctome; and/or watching them in action/testing. To say I miss working, is an understatement. I damn near feel lost living amongst the ghetto's of society; restraining myself from wanting to blow shit up.
All's I need now is a Apocalypse Bunker. I had one, until I fell ill, sold it and moved to town...
In the mid-90's Edwards AFB merged their flight corridors and bombing ranges with China Lake Naval/USMC Weapons Ctr. Base. That created one massive Bombing Range; approximately 1,900 square miles of Flight Air Space, or 15% of California Air-Space.
We'd spend weeks on end out on the range, from (1979-2004) observing and testing the bombing runs of both the B-1B, then the B2 badass mother of all bombers.
By merging both EAFB and CLNWC; we then got the treat of watching these Apaches, along with the A-10 Warthog/Thunderbolt, and
damn near everything else in the Armed Forces arsenal that flew and was built to blow shit up, eg F-23 flyoffs vs F-22 Piece of Shit, F-17 vs F-17/18, F-14's vs F-15's. On and on, ntm- those incredible Shuttle OV Recovery's at EAFB, and on and on...The Lunar Module was tested at EAFB, before my time, X-15, on and on, an endless story...
The A-10 could fire 4,200 30-mm's rounds per Minute, then reduced to 3,900 from its Cannon's that's 70 per Second...
then there was the AC-130
Angel of Death Gunship, aka
Puff the Magic Dragon;an entirely other story, rather a book, unto its own. I won't even go into details on that complex S.O.B, the bad ass of all bad asses....
no other nation has this firepower to obliterate other entire nations in a day and fortnight....

just to give ya' an idear as to size of the R-2508 Flight Corridor. The red corridors are the blow shit up areas....i.e. R-2515/R-2524/R-2505 et al.
