On Monday, President Donald Trump was asked about the reports that his Supreme Court nominee, Brett Kavanaugh, was, at times in his life, a heavy beer drinker. This is what he said in response:

"I was surprised at how vocal he was about the fact that he likes beer, and he's had a little bit of difficulty, I mean he talked about things that happened when he drinks -- this is not a man that said ... that he was perfect with respect to alcohol."

Which is interesting. Because that is not, in fact, anything close to how Kavanaugh has described his own drinking.

Berchem's texts with Yarasavage shed light on Kavanaugh’s personal contact with friends, including that he obtained a copy of a photograph of a small group of friends from Yale at a 1997 wedding in order to show himself smiling alongside Ramirez 10 years after they graduated. Both were in the wedding party: Kavanaugh was a groomsman and Ramirez a bridesmaid at the wedding.

On Sept, 22nd, Yarasavage texted Berchem that she had shared the photo with “Brett’s team.”

But when Kavanaugh was asked about the wedding during a committee interview on Sept. 25th, he said he was “probably” at a wedding with Ramirez. Asked if he interacted with her at the wedding, Kavanaugh replied, “I am sure I saw her because it wasn’t a huge wedding,” but added that he “doesn’t have a specific recollection.” Lying to Congress is a felony whether testimony is taken under oath or not.

...still not sure why you think the SC will "crush the libs" much less "set them back" 60-70 years or why you see the SC as more integral than the POTUS or why you assume the SC will automatically overturn Roe/Wade, etc....as I've said, I'm all for having and conservative/moderate POTUS but Trump is just, well, well, ...shit, I said his name...I gotta go take a shower.

No, what will maga- is building an honest legit Conservative party, not destroying it.
Today's GOP have grown from dissedent extremists from the right and left.

Todays Extremists don't know the difference b/t Liberal or Leftists.

Extremism on both sides who place Party over Nation.

What is the difference b/t supporting Trumputin or Alex Jones because they wear the tarnished GOP Badge....

What this Nation needs is a legit GOP, who places Nation over Party.
Conservatives and Liberals who have weeded out the extremist from both parties.

A Nation that can efficiently get along, pass laws with bipartisanship regardless of their positions albeit one side or the other....
