I'm so sick of liberal pussies. I used to consider myself a left winger, but they disgust me now.
Right on! Pussies are disgusting!
Oh wait... maybe not.

Ugh. This whole diatribe is wrong on so many levels. Point #1, about this being used as an ISIS recruiting tool. Really? That's what's going to push someone over the edge into wanting to kill people? If it does, they were whacked out anyway and would have joined at any provocation. But this is like saying, "if a burglar tries to break into your house, you better just let him, otherwise he's going to get mad and rob your home.
Point #2. No, it's not. Trump's comments had nothing to do with internment camps or deportation. He's saying don't allow immigration. Not allowing a forgiener to immigrate here is in no way similar to putting a citizen in an interment camp.
Point #3. Most Muslim terror attacks have taken place in Europe where guns are banned, also, they've been bombings that are detonated remotely. The recent attack we had in the US, no one in the building had a gun. What do you think would have happened if they had run into a building full of armed people and started shooting?
Sinobas- this is America. We don't discriminate based on religion. Even if they are against homosexuality, they are free to believe what they wish to believe. They can't break the law or deny someone else their rights but they are entitled to their beliefs. It is unconstitutional to deny access to our country based on religion. Your thinking is incredibly dangerous. You are naive and you feel comfy because you're not Muslim but how will you feel when people come after you and YOUR religion whatever that may be?
And I know you said it's just immigration but what message does that send to the Muslims who are here? Makes them 2nd class citizens who aren't wanted.
Ridiculous. No one is "coming for" anyone. But on the flip side, Muslims might indeed come for you, since you are not exactly popular in their eyes. Should we let them have you, so that we don't "discriminate against religion". If we were to follow your logic, it would be unconstitutional to prohibit them from practicing Sharia justice upon you. It's part of their religion.Case in point, Sinobas:
SlyPokerDog is so ignorant. Isis can use Trump's statement as a recruiting tool. You don't call out 99.9999% of Muslims for what a few have done. Are you a Christian? By Trump's way of thinking, we should put all Christians in internment camps for their terrorist actions. It's ridiculous. Luckily, almost everyone on both sides of the aisle have condemned Trump's statement. It's UnAmerican! Make America Great Again? More like Make America Hate Again. As for guns, has anyone ever used a gun to defend themselves during a terrorist attack? Not that I can remember. Also, do you think guns helped all the people trapped in the World Trade Center on 9/11? More guns equals more gun violence.

I don't really give a fuck how it makes them feel. Their religion makes people feel bad all the time, all over the world. We have to do what we have to do to protect our nation. And if they really stand for American values, they shouldn't want them coming over either.

American values? Oh, like freedom of religion, freedom of expression, separation of church and state? Those kind of values or did you have something else in mind? Don't get me wrong, refugees entering this country should be vigorously screened and it shouldn't be a free-for-all of immigration, and I have serious reservations about the compatibility of Islam with liberal western culture, but that's no excuse to make a blanket law restricting immigration on the basis of a religious test (which would be nearly impossible to design anyway).

This.
Christians whine all the time about some war on religion going on here and yet they'll jump on a war on religion bandwagon against Islam and Muslims. Only a wee bit hypocritical.
Being hypocritical is acting contrary to your stated beliefs, so no don't see any hypocracy there. Christians are talking about things like Christmas and teaching creation in schools. And that's child's play compared to this issue.
Intolerant of other religions.
Can I be more concise?
Oh, are Christians calling for a ban on other religions? I thought we were talking about Donald Trump saying we should stop immigration of Muslims till we "figure out what is going on". Sorry, this is really about christians. Bad, hypocrtical christians!
"Religion of peace."
Seen that before?
It's bizaare how powerful labels are these days, even when the exact opposite is true. Islam is the most violent religion on earth today. It's like calling the Mexican Mafia the "peace club".
What nation has the largest muslim population? Is it peaceful? Why don't you dwell on them for a while!
Interesting question and I didn't know the answer so I did a little investigating:
"The largest Muslim population in a country is in Indonesia, a nation home to 12.7% of the world's Muslims."
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Islam_by_country
Roughly 88% of the population is Muslim. While traditionally Indonesia has promoted tolerance of other religions, things have changed in recent years. Aceh province is the most conservative area of the country and has adopted sharia law, including floggings, stoning of adulterers & homosexuals. There is increasing violence towards Christians and those of other faiths:

http://uk.reuters.com/article/uk-indonesia-aceh-violence-idUKKCN0SD0GI20151019
http://www.nytimes.com/2012/05/22/opinion/no-model-for-muslim-democracy.html?_r=0
From what little I've read, it seems that Indonesia is pretty much a microcosm of the larger Muslim world. While a large majority of Muslims simply want to live in peace, the hardliners are becoming more aggressive about asserting intolerance of those of other faiths and are increasingly resulting towards violence towards them.
Do a little more reading and you'll see that what I posted about Aceh province is correct. As far as violence goes:
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Religiously_motivated_violence_in_Indonesia
Similar to Watts riots here.
It's not a prevalent thing in the nation as a whole.
This is still a great example of Islam is a religion of peace in fact.
Islam is a religion. As with most other human constructs, it can be used for peaceful or violent purposes. Unfortunately for the world at large, and regardless of whether the large majority of its adherents are peaceful, the cancer of a small minority is intent on using its interpretation of Islam in a violent manner to push its agenda of jihad and establishment of a global caliphate. Stating that Islam is a religion of peace has zero impact in resolving the violence of that minority.
