You can pay PR firms and freelance writers to edit Wikipedia content. It's open source and only needs an accepted citation to make a declarative statement. Just run down the profile of your average vapid, moronic celebrity.... as clean as a babies bottom. They all look completely desirable, hirable and scandal free.

Fuck I'd love to be able to manufacture a trade that didn't exist into reality through internet content though. Sort of a Mike Piazza to the Mets but with a computer. You'd have the late Marshall McLuhen sucking your cock for that one.

No, they don't.. Wikipedia is usually extremely accurate, and they have employees and volunteers who pride themselves on keeping it that way. That's why all the edits people made on Harkless' page are now gone. People can't just add false things and have it stay there.

I know people do a good job trying to keep the site reputable. But nothing on the Internet is beyond exploitation.

Neil Degrasse Tyson edited his own page to correct a fact once, and then wiki/someone edited it back. Very diligent they are. lol It's usually pretty great though.
