US National Team: Blue vs. White Game Thread

Was sleeping before work and had no idea this happened until I went to ESPN before I took off and saw it. Im really glad my first reaction was to be concerned for PG instead of to make some snarky comment because 3 years ago I would have made a joke about the incident.
this injury makes me suspect it will be the end of all NBA caliber players in international tournaments. What GM or owner would want to send their young players to play overseas when it could jeopardize that players future with the club regardless of how small the chances are of them being injured

It would ultimately depend on whether or not the players truly wanted to play in these tournaments. It's hard to argue with someone saying 'if we can't play for USA, we won't play for you'.

A very obscure reference, but Robert Edwards had his career end in the NFL Sand Pro Bowl. Why the hell were active NFL players on a beach playing football?

Pretty sure I called SlyPokerDog an asshole.

Now SlyPokerDog is an asshole. That was in no way a personal attack. It was a clear description of a post I made. Such as attacking the post and not the poster. Would it be better if I said PapaG's post is an asshole post? One he clearly states was an accidental post.

As for not watching zombie shows, I actually do have a photographic memory as far as pictures go. I will never forget that Ware clip just as I haven't forgotten the pictures on the Internet of that teen girl who crashed her dad's Porsche. TV isn't real so who cares?

Calling someone an asshole is a personal attack, saying that you called someone an asshole is a personal attack. It's not a big deal. You wanted to call someone an asshole and you got to. At the end of the day does it really matter who you called an asshole? Think of it similar to you saying you want to have sex with a big breasted hot blonde. If you end up having sex with a big breasted hot red head are you really going to complain?

So you're saying you've got nice tits?

Wrong thread, this should be posted in the FIBA World Cup thread!

Looks like Dame made it!! It's a joke that Millsap got cut and Plumlee didn't, though. Lillard did school Wall in the scrimmage.

He hasn't withdrawn yet officially. What's the rumor there?

Actually haven't heard anything, but he did cancel his press conference with us tomorrow morning. So take that for what it is.
