I highly doubt GS gets bumped from the first round of the playoffs this year. Curry is not over rated because of these two things.

That's true, but it's not like saying "he's not that bad", it implies negative connotations. And besides he is that good, that's why he will end up being the best 3 point shooter in NBA history. At least until dame catches him!

Yep. I was at the GS game last year when he went OFF... the guy can literally hit it from anywhere, any time. I love watching that guy play. And he is that good. Luckily, we have dame, who will most likely get there himself, so its like a win win for us.

They are pretty much a lock to make the playoffs, and as long as they dont play OKC, they have a good chance of getting to the 2nd round. You base your judgement on pre game warmups(rolo, even though thankfully you were right and he did look really good), performance in a 3 point shootout or all star game, and then you ask why you are eating crow... You do know players can get better, right? Curry is having the best year of his career right now.

If the NBA wants fans to care, maybe they could have a contest between NBA players and average schmoes who never played pro or even college ball. They could have tryouts at games. Or maybe do like the Pro-Am pairings in golf.

I think he's a basketball player, not a H.O.R.S.E. player - which is basically what the 3-point contest is. He seems like he thrives off of head-to-head, 5-on-5 competition, rather than solo performances. Perhaps I'll be proven wrong - I really don't care either way because All-Star weekend is stupid.

That notion is just silly. Wes thrives on competition. All you've seen him in is 5-on-5 competition so your opinion comes from conjecture.
