I'll give you $225k cash in 2 years when the market falls of a cliff. Oh, I'm going to roll into the sales centers like a total dickhead talking about how everything is 30% overpriced. lol

I was planning to wait 2 years until the Raiders get here but I'm gonna call my realtor and see if it isn't too late to bail now.

Just got off the plain in Vegas. Its my first time being here since iv turned 21. My question is where should I go and what should I see. Im here for 4 days so iv got some time on my hands
There's lots to see but I know of four interesting things.
1. They've got a people train that will get you up and down a lot of the strip.
2. Vegas World along the strip but toward the downtown as an elevator to the top with a couple of fabulous amusement rides.
3. The Mirage has a great lobby with a tremendous aquarium. Really an eye opener.
4. Hoover (Boulder) Dam.

@bodyman5000 and 1 is there anything good around Red Rocks/Summerlin as far as big planned neighborhoods with a home preview center, model homes, etc? Probably gonna do that on Saturday and hit up Red Rocks and the 7 Mountains Art thing for a bit.

Is Lake Las Vegas any good?

I would imagine they have something in Summerlin. My buddy used to live there.

My advice is to use a real estate agent coupled with some independent research.

Probably more NW of Summerlin. Summerlin is getting pretty old actually. They're building a new minor league baseball stadium somewhere around there. Not sure where.

I haven't been to Lake Las Vegas since the recession. I liked it then and now Cadence is building close to it.

If you're going to 7 Magic Mountains (waste of time) drive through Inspirada it is just southeast of The M casino

It seems like the perks are greatly attenuated. The last time we were there we couldn't find a good buffet. Can you believe it, we couldn't find a good buffet?
Still, my wife wants to go there on a weekend junket. Weekend because I've got regular trips I have to make to the VA hospital on weekdays and Saturdays.

I have a 360 camera I wanna get footage with on the 7 Magic Mountains.

Yeah, doing Inspirada on Sunday.

Buffett's suck.

thats where all the cheap hookers are!
One thing I can say is that I've never resorted to a hooker, not even in Vietnam and not even in Tijuana. Okay, a buddy of mine once hired a hooker to strip for us at a private party but that's the closest. And I suppose ogling at women in a strip club doesn't count.

Adelita's bro.

Buffett's suck.
Las Vegas buffets at one time were absolutely fabulous. Now, they suck.
I did have an excellent NY steak sandwich in a cafe in the Peppermill in Reno a couple times but otherwise I've always stuck to buffets.
A big part of the reason we no longer go to Nevada is because their buffets are now horrible.

Almost all of them suck.

The bacchanal was great at Caesars but it has been a few years. The M casino off the strip has a pretty damn good buffet.

They're just expensive.

Bacchanal sucked. The Wynn, Bellagio and Paris are the only decent ones on the strip. Paris is debatable, only go for Breakfast.

Peppermill has gone down hill, its fun and kitchy but the food ain't that good.

I don't mind paying for something that's good. I hate paying good money for crap, it makes me feel cheated.

The buffets are such a crap shoot anyway.

Went to the Wynn and it should have been amazing and it sucked.

The M Studio B buffet was amazing when it opened, went downhill after a year or two and we went a few weeks ago and it was great.

Aria and mirage are good.

Mirage has unlimited booze, with craft beers included.

I didn't care for the Wynn buffet.

Wynn had some expensive looking ribeye roast or something like that.

Huge piece of meat...no salt or pepper or seasoning of any kind.

When I go to Vegas I take an Uber to Durango Lodge. Great locals bar and I know the staff. Sooo much cheaper than the strip.
