Man, I'd like to meet you sometime. You're one of the few who's a bigger homer than I am.

He has an offensive rating of 111, which suggests the offense flows just fine with him on the court.

I don't think I'm being a homer, just don't agree with what you said.

Now that time has passed how does the Batum for Vonleh trade look?

Considering that we desperately need a better small forward and we have a ton of power forwards on the team which one would you rather have on this year's team?
The answer is so obviously Batum that voting for Vonleh is just a sign of tribalism. It's like a blue collar worker voting for Trump.

Nic is on a 5 year, 120 million dollar contact. For what he brings, I don't want him on my team.

He’s exactly what we’re missing, are you signing the checks?

Vonleh...age..health....salary...consistency..didn't Nico just play his first game recently ....again?

Batum, because he'd be such a massive upgrade over the SFs we have.

Batum is way to expensive for his production

He can’t even shoot. Look at his stats.

At the end we would have to gut our bench to afford him. Vonleh is only 22 and plays excellent defense and rebounds well.

Only thing Vonleh needs is a reliable jumper and he’s deadly at the 4 for us

You could say the same about any other 4 in the league who only rebounds and dunks. Odds at this point are slim.

You posit a good question, dog.

Contracts aside, it's obviously Batum for this year. He fits with what we need.

I like Noah Vonleh for his age though. If he can get confident from 10-15 feet with his jumper then we will be just fine. Keep rebounding big man!!!

Nice timing on this poll after Vonleh saves the day with a monster game while Nic is laid up with injury. You Sly Dog, you.

I'm leaning toward Batum for similar reasons already listed by others. He would mesh so well with Dame and CJ, plus he's a solid and versatile defender. Everyone is loving the 3 guard lineup, well that's what we'd have all the time with Batum starting at SF. Holy shit, I think our offense would be so damn dangerous. Aminu would be pushed to our 5th option, where he should be. Plus I always loved Batum. This isn't to knock Vonleh, because I like what he brings, but we have other players that could fill his position nearly as well if we didn't have him (Aminu, Swanigan, Collins, Meyers, even Ed).

I was so done with Batum and the endless casual plays he made during the season.
Never would want him back in a Blazer uniform ever.
I'd take Aminu over Batum 10 times out of 10.

It looks like Noah is just now really coming into his own. I will answer in another month, because I expect him to move himself into the upper half of PF's this year.

Oh dang, I didn't realize he was back already!

Regarding cost, I'd MUCH rather pay Nic $5M more than Turner. We'd be SO MUCH better if we could swap Turner for Nic. Contractually (and setting health aside) Nic is only overpaid by a few million, whereas Turner is overpaid by $10M.

10 Mil per year or 10 over his whole contract?
