When Kamala says i don't intend on doing anything different than Biden, I don't blame them. There's a recency bias and Biden was pretty trash. It's not that Trump is some formidable opponent. It's that the Democrats are absolute garbage who don't know how to differentiate themselves because they're owned by the same donors as the Republicans.

Based on what's verifiable right now, Iran's claim is not corroborated by independent evidence.
Here's how to assess it:
Reasons to be skeptical of Iran's denial:
  • Tasnim News Agency is an Iranian state-linked outlet — not an independent source
  • The denial came after Saudi Arabia and Western sources had already attributed the attack to Iranian drones
  • Iran has previously denied involvement in attacks later confirmed to be theirs (e.g., the 2019 Abqaiq-Khurais strike)
  • The "blame Israel" framing fits a well-established Iranian information warfare pattern
  • Multiple simultaneous attacks across the Gulf region that same day (Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Doha, Bahrain, Oman) align with Iranian — not Israeli — attack patterns
What would need to be true for Iran's claim to hold up:
  • Independent technical evidence (drone fragments, flight paths, electronic signatures) pointing to Israeli origin
  • A plausible Israeli motive for striking Saudi oil infrastructure while already at war with Iran
  • Corroboration from Saudi Arabia or a neutral third party — neither of which has emerge
No independent verification exists yet. In the fog of an active regional conflict, final attribution takes time. But as of now, the weight of evidence points to Iran, and the "Israel did it" claim comes exclusively from Iranian state media with no supporting evidence presented.

I don't disagree with you. But that's not a conversation to have when Trump is an option.

Because this really sucks.

We were far, far better off with Biden.

I remember Trump abandoning the Kurds when Erdogan was chasing them out of Turkey and northern Syria, but now we need them again so it's all different.

Axiomatic that wars are most popular on day one.
Over 90% supported Afghanistan war when it began. Both Iraq wars began with approval of high 70s.
Trump Epstein war in Iran began with approval of 37%.
