A single allied pilot flying an American-made fighter jet was responsible for downing three U.S. jets worth a combined $100 million.

Originally it was believed that surface-to-air missiles were responsible for Sunday’s friendly fire incident in Kuwait, where Iran launched retaliatory strikes against U.S. allies after President Donald Trump launched his military campaign.

Three F-15E Strike Eagles flying in support of Operation Epic Fury were “mistakenly shot down by Kuwaiti air defenses,” forcing all six crew members to eject, U.S. Central Command said in a statement.

It turns out a Kuwaiti F/A-18 pilot launched three missiles against the U.S. aircraft, which cost $31.1 million each, sources familiar with initial incident reports told The Wall Street Journal.

Replacing them could be even more expensive, though, as the latest generation F-15EX Eagle II costs about $90 million per aircraft, according to Barron’s.

The crew—three pilots and three weapons systems officers—were all safely recovered and were in stable condition.

The incident took place soon after an Iranian drone penetrated Kuwait’s air defenses and hit a triple-wide trailer serving as a tactical-operations center at a commercial port, killing six U.S. troops, a source told the Journal.

If you don't think SkyNews is credible British media, then you might want to look in the mirror at who is buying a bill of goods from partisan or propaganda outlets. SkyNews is considered very reliable.

IIRC, it was SkyNews that reported the drone attack on Cyprus didn't come from Iran. Now, that doesn't mean it didn't come from Iranian surrogates elsewhere, but that hasn't been established. What apparently has been established is it didn't come from Iran, which makes one wonder why we were being told early on that Iran was attacking a UK base on Cyprus.

I don't actually believe we should be snatching up heads of state we disagree with.

Skynews are just fine. Look at the Tweet - the text has nothing to do with the Sky News video. (the reporter never said anything about false flag and Israel. If you don't want or think like me that it was sent via Hizballah that is fine. you can have that prerogative, but the text "British Media claims, Israel carried out false Flag attacks on UK, France, and Türkiye’s soil or airbases to drag them into the war with Iran." is rubbish and propaganda no matter how you look at it.

You are correct that we don't have any proof that it was Israel that launched the drone and was framing Iran. I think I stated that in my prior post.

However, we also don't have any proof that that wasn't what happened. We don't know.

And, we need to be honest here that Netanyahu has a lot of baggage that hurts his credibility and that Israel has financially supported a lot of American lawmakers, media and social media influencers. Israel and its surrogates dispense propaganda, too. And, one can't help but notice that the original report of the Cyprus attack was all about it coming from Iran ... so someone was pushing that narrative until someone else dug deeper.

In other words, Israel isn't entitled to the unconditional trust you want everyone here to give them and the way you are doing that sometimes comes off as bottish.

You are correct, though, in that the tweet is an example of adding 1 and 1 and arriving at 9. We don't have enough information yet to know if this was a false flag or if the drone came from Hezbollah.

I don't want any trust at all - I need and want readers to fact check me and my comments all the time- that is what I want. I want critical thinking from both sides. You corrected me very well throughout our discussion here when I was wrong or out of place/line. It is not one dimensional, once people started pouring tweet over tweet everything started to spiral and critical thinking goes out the window and plethora of conspiracy thinking emerges. For All sides and from all sides. I am against that.
 
Confirmed. Israel is hm trying to frame Iran with attacks in other countries. How long until Israel attacks the U.S.?
