Way too early trade suggestions

We’re playing way too many guys who shouldn’t be in the league.

Personally, I think the Magic should trade Banchero straight up for Markannen. The Magic are playing noticeably better after Banchero went down but they could still use outside shooting. I think Banchero is shiny enough a bauble that Danny Ainge would go for it.

I don't think Orlando would do that. Lauri is terrific but is he a #1? He doesn't function with the ball in his hands, which is both great and not great. Paolo is a guy you can give the ball to to generate offense.

I don't think the Blazers can go all in with a team in disarray like it is now.

Can we do better without involving Sharpe or Deni?

Yikes. Why would we want to match that?

I realize he's a talented player, but I don't see that he elevates the Blazers enough to be a contender and they'd be adversely impacting their resources for a decade to find the pieces to put around him to be able to elevate the team?

All this probably would do is amount to flipping Markkanen to a contender in a few years and hoping the Blazers get back what they gave up to get him.

Well you know any player on the Kings or Clippers could be had. Not that there are any worth pursuing on either…

That makes... not much sense? The Pistons are young and have Duren busting out all over.

Davis should obviously end up on the Clippers. Trouble is they have nothing to offer, and that only works if you're the Lakers.

Somebody work out a trade that involves Sabonis, Anthony Davis, Zion Williamson and Lauri Markkanen all at once.

lol! With our injury bug AND his? We might actually create a wormhole through space and time if that happens.

I think there would be some kind of temporal anomaly that might end the universe as we know it, if the team did that.

As far as us aquiring AD goes...

Why would we want to??!!

Exactly. And not because Lauri is a bad player, but he's not going to be a player that changes the future of the franchise, esp at that cost.

If Jrue and RW are healthy at the trade deadline I have a feeling both will be in high demand. Maybe late first round offers for them. Going to be some tough decisions to be made. Me personally as much as I like Jrue I would consider letting him go for right price just because I don’t see how we make everyone happy next year with dame back. Man RW is special I really really like his game and fit for how we play

Feel like it’s playing Russian roulette. Love both players and definitely want to keep them both it’s going to be a tough decision probably a lot will depend on if we are in the running for playoffs, if they are healthy and what offers we get.

I’m curious, when it comes to a trade suggestion, are you taking into account that Dame (Age 35) will be returning? It looks and you hear that his progress is coming along very nicely. Dame has said that this is the kind of team he’s been waiting for and he talks like he really believes that he can lead the team to championship level.
Do you think we have that championship level team with Dame coming back as is? If not then maybe a gamble on a Markkanen, AD or Sabonis type of player wouldn’t be so bad. I’m not suggesting, I’m just asking.
