I wouldn't mind taking a flyer on Kuminga. I don't think we'd get much more for Jerami than Kuminga and filler. If it was for Jrue we would need a FRP back with Kuminga and filler.

I do like the fact that the rumor talks about both Jerami and Jrue because if we're the team that O'Connor is carrying water for, this could be an attempt to drive up the price for both Jerami and Jrue with other teams that have called about them.

Not at all interested in moving Jrue for him. Since it's a team option for next season, I'd consider Grant. He's been pretty big scoring off the bench for us, but the $$ saved would be nice. Although, they'd have to throw in Moody to match Grant with Kuminga,

I've never heard him have an attitude problem. Kerr yanks him around and doesn't utilize his abilities. While I don't LOVE the fit, I would be happy with getting Kuminga for Grant. Younger. Cheaper. Better asset. Kuminga can be one of the best slashers in the game when he plays and plays off the ball.

Tough call, kid has huge upside but if he’s a mental case who’s not coachable than I’d take a pass. I also think Kerr is a little overrated and has benefited from having Curry and Green. I hated how he did Tatum dirty in the Olympics.

I think Blazers probably have a good idea on which is true and if they felt Kerr might be the issue then I’d make the trade. Getting off Grant's contract before he starts to slide would be huge benefit even if we don’t keep Kuminga

Yep, the matching salaries make it tough. Unless, as you mentioned, they include Moody.
A Steph, Jimmy, Grant, Green, and Post starting unit would be an improvement for them, though.
If I were GS, I would do it.

If he's being linked to us then I'd have to think that we would be a third team. I think there is no way that our front office is even thinking about bringing Trae here. But who knows. I would hate the move so I'm sure my position on it is skewed.
