Not saying this is a great scenario but Simons/Little and picks for KAT. Send Nurk to Golden Stare for a re-signed Draymond. Use the MLE on BPA.What is the absolute best-case scenario if we draft Scoot and Dame goes with it?
Trade Simons, 23, Nurk(?) I would assume.
Dame
Sharpe
??
Grant
Nurk (??)
Scoot
Watford??
Eubanks??
What do we get for Simons, 23, Nurk (and let's just assume we can unlock our picks from the Bulls)? And free agency?
If we draft Scoot and don’t make a trade I put the odds of Ant leaving at 90%,
I think Any is gone regardless lol.ftfy
Is it our business that Brandon Miller may have been involved in a fatal shooting in college? Should we care when a player gets arrested, or stopped for a DUI, or beats his girlfriend? Do any of those facts have a role when considering whether to acquire a player, or are you just pissed that someone mentioned something negative about a player you would like to see on the Blazers?Who gives a shit who he’s fucking? None of your business
Good question but I would have to go with the younger player. Longer term upside with Wemby. Still pissed that the Spurs once again thru tanking get a great center prospect. If we got the number one pick, would you trade Wemby for Giannis?
He’s played enough to make 2 All Star teams.
A 6'2" PG to back up Lillard "can absolutely work"? How is that different from CJ/Ant? Nothing I've read exactly refers to him as a lock-down defender. He sounds like a great prospect but the fit doesn't feel right at all. Hoping we're more inclined to trading the pick than we're letting on.Dame, Sharpe, and Scoot can absolutely work. Ant would be the odd man out if he can bring in a vet at forward.
I am good with keeping Scoot or trading him for a star.

Dame said he didn't want youth anyone under 6'4" is a small shooting guard... it's not even debatable. It would be putting a small SG next to Dame for the 8th straight season. We would also yet again ask a guy in Shaedon to play a position up to make this shit work. It's cool though, it's not like we've done this same thing before.
It doesn't matter though because Dame said he wasn't cool with youth and has no interest in mentoring any more rookies. He said Shaedon is different and Shaedon is enough. If we draft and keep Scoot, we will trade Dame... it will happen. That is just a prediction and not a fact but it's a pretty solid prediction based on all of the information Dame was kind enough to give us.
Reports are that both Portland and Charlotte measured him as just under 6’4 in shoes.A 6'2" PG to back up Lillard "can absolutely work"? How is that different from CJ/Ant? Oh that changes everything?Reports are that both Portland and Charlotte measured him as just under 6’4 in shoes.
6’4 with a 6’9 wingspan is not really undersized for either guard spot.Oh that changes everything?

Fine. What if a player has a drinking problem? What if he is addicted to painkillers? What if he is bi-polar, or suffers from chronic depression? All of those things are personal and non-criminal, yet they factor into decisions made by NBA general managers all the time, as they should. The things you just listed off, are all crimes… you know, things that are illegal & could (read: probably should) land one’s ass in jail. Zion having drama in his PERSONAL SEX LIFE does not fall under that category.
Shape starts at SG next year. He is not undersized.Dame said he didn't want youth anyone under 6'4" is a small shooting guard... it's not even debatable. The scenario being discussed is starting Dame, Scoot and Shaedon... I'm not even saying as far as length goes that Shae is undersized for SF... I'm saying his most effective position is SG and we would be playing him and Scoot a position up and that is something we have done and failed with too many fucking times to do it again.Shape starts at SG next year. He is not undersized.
Can't start all 3 if you are wanting to win.The scenario being discussed is starting Dame, Scoot and Shaedon... I'm not even saying as far as length goes that Shae is undersized for SF... So if we're in win now mode why would we have one of our three most valuable players in terms of trade value (Dame, Scoot and Shae) sitting them bench when we have glaring holes in the starting lineup? Can't start all 3 if you are wanting to win.
Yeah, I love this report. It makes me feel like there's a really good chance that the reports of us wanting to draft and keep Scoot are just to try and get a better deal surrounding Scoot for Zion. I still honestly believe this is what will ultimately happen tomorrow. Call it wishful thinking but it makes sense for both sides. I'm just going to post this incredibly redundant trade idea again because I think it makes a lot of sense and a little twist.I knew i wasn't hearing things. Scoot's getting amped up to be a Pelican.
