In the future, sailing ships will be built and captained by robots. Young black lesbian robots.
This strikes me as sort of funny as I mentioned earlier. Not many black people associate themselves with boats. I really can't think of a Black designer of boats.
Not many Black people here at the marina either, maybe none. I did know one Black guy though with a pretty good sized sailboat, about 40 years ago now. But that was up in Oakland not down here on So Cal.
Big heavy Black Ketch rigged boat almost looked like more than a boat, like a ship, named the El Negro Grande. When they hauled it into the yard there in San Leandro, I was just finishing getting my boat ready to launch for the first time, and this thing caught my eye. El Negro Grande? What's up with that?
So I asked the yard manager the what's up thing. Oh that belongs to the Snow Man. Shit, I am even more confused now.
Ok, what the hell is the Snow man and this big ass black boat!
Well I didn't get any more info directly. Have to wait until the Snow man shows. In his Lincoln Continental no less, a huge black dude looking just like he stepped off the movie set with his hat gear on.
I local fisherman working on his boat next to mine, must have noticed my curiosity. All he said was they are both big and black.
Goodness! That was forty years ago 1978 and I have been from Ketchikan to San Diego several times and Mexico too, not many Black men care for boats.
Might be quite a few lesbian though, hard to know.
